This place is absolutely perfect for a one night or weekend stay in Franschoek. It’s simple which is all you need in a wonderful town like Franschhoek. The breakfast was just what you needed to start the day. It’s not massive but just enough. Staff is also very kind and helpful. The rooms are also comfortable and simple. Warm which is great for winter. Location is superb as you can walk to all the great dinner spots and the Elephant and Barrel pub

Auberge was central to what we wanted to do. We arrived parked and walked to all the interesting places.There are improvements the establishment could do. TV not up to standard. Some small issues. Otherwise a good sleep over.

Would recommend Auberge Alouette to anyone passing through Franschhoek. Very comfortable beds, homely atmosphere and friendly staff. Location was ideal, within walking distance to all the town's central attractions. Will definitely be back.

Not the most trendy or luxurious venue, but clean, quiet & comfortable in a central location. A short walk into the centre of town, so the perfect base to explore Franschoek. Great value for money. The owner & staff were very accommodating.

Ticks all our boxes.Felt like "home away from home".The location was just perfect,as it is walking distance to everything we needed,such as sgops,restaurants,shuttle for wine tram etc.The breakfast was really great and the staff super friendly and helpful at all times.Alet our host was very accomodating.Rooms very clean and bed comfortable.Perfect facilities for making our own tea & coffee.

Everything was perfect, very central walking distance to town, staff excellent and friendly, very clean place. Florence couldn’t help enough. We would definitely recommend this lovely guest house to anyone wishing to stay in Franschoek

Great little guest house. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Just off the main street making it a central location. We enjoyed our stay. Quirky little place in keeping with the area. Would recommend a stay For those wanting to explore the area

We spent 2 nights at Auberge Alouette. This was our first stay in Franschhoek and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The guesthouse was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The service was great and the breakfast was delicious. There was wifi but we struggled with the signal so couldn't use it. Having said that, we will still stay there again. The small dipping pool was awesome as we had extremely hot weather. Thank for an awesome stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Auberge Alouette. It's very close to the Franschhoek tram which was the reason for our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was cosy. An overall pleasant experience.
