I recently stayed at Neighbourhood in Franschhoek, and it was an exceptional experience! The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and beautifully blends modern amenities with a touch of local charm. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a cozy yet luxurious feel. One of the highlights was the attentive staff, who went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Franschhoek, within walking distance to amazing restaurants and boutique shops, yet still offering a quiet and peaceful retreat. If you’re visiting Franschhoek and looking for a relaxing, boutique-style hotel with excellent service, Neighbourhood is a fantastic choice. I can't wait to return!

No bathroom amenities, no tv, lounge curtains open onto a wall a metre away. Shower is scorching hot and difficult to get the balance right. Very noisy, room 1. Only good thing is the bed. Fortunately we booked for 1 night only and won’t be back

The accommodation is great if you want to take a trip on the wine tram, as you can just walk across the street. Otherwise, you can easily walk into town to the restaurants in the evening. Otherwise, the accommodation is clean and nicely furnished. Unfortunately, it is very thinly soundproof and you can hear everything from the hallway and the rooms next door. The room is also relatively dark.
