Campanile Rouen Est - Franqueville Saint Pierre

As my experience, the location has a little creepy at night but in the morning, everything is ok. If u can go around, there is a park too. Besides, Public transport is a necessary thing need to be noticed.

For our first night after a transatlantic flight we were looking for a place outside central Rouen so that we could avoid traffic but still be close. We had low expectations, but they were well exceeded. Nice comfy beds. Plain, but functional rooms. The breakfast was really good - lots of variety and good quality.

A great overnight stay A very pleasant stay however we experienced a lot of noise during the night from the roof space which we believe may have been caused by a bird being trapped in the roof space. We noticed a velum roof light so maybe a bird had got stuck in there the previous day. I’ll leave that with you guys

Campanile Hotels used to have such good food available to the weary traveller - now it would seem best to seek sustinence elsewhere after checking in. Not only was the usual menu not available the liomited choice on offer was so small as to be hardly worth bothering - more like take it or leave it. Eventually settled on the steak which was so chewy it beggars belief that it was served in a French Restaurant. Same story at the next Campanile that we had pre-booked. Sad to say, after many years of loyal use we will need to look elsewhere.
