Stayed here with my mom for 2 nights and we were not disappointed. Check-in was quick and easy (parking lot directly adjacent to entrance). Our room was clean and cozy and would have been comfortable for any length of stay. We took advantage of the afternoon food offerings and breakfast for each day of our stay. Dining areas did get crowded and the line for adult beverages needs to be better organized (another bartender would have helped). Poor and hot tub areas were in great shape. One concern that we brought to the attention of the front desk staff was that our room keys also unlocked chemical/mechanical areas of the pool deck (we were checking the doors to see if they led to a sauna or other guest area as they we not labeled). This could be a major safety issue and hopefully was rapidly corrected. Otherwise, would eagerly book this facility again.

We just spend two days in Frankenmuth, Michigan at the Bavarian Lodge. It was so much fun and so relaxing. The hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are very comfortable. There are so many things to do at the Lodge including shops, restaurants and water park and games for the children. We highly recommend and we are looking forward to coming back again.

I won't stay here again. The couch is ridiculous as to sit in it your feet are hanging off the end a foot from the floor. Very uncomfortable. The chair at the desk is uncomfortable too. You're positioned where you're leaning forward all the time. Those were minor annoyances compared to being teased with a fantastic choice of streaming movie stations and then find out the movies you want to watch are $20 dollars. On top of that their internet connection is terrible and after 15 minutes the movie your streaming cuts off and you get a message to try again later. Seemed everything I tried to do online was a hit and miss effort. Constantly cutting in and out. I'd rather have no internet than service like that.

Great location and convenient that it’s across the street from the River Shop Place. Clean rooms and lobby and friendly staff. However, our only complaint was the noise and all the commotion. You can hear your neighbors open and close their doors and it was very bothersome and the loud sounds were startling. I would recommend the hotel using soft closing door hinges! We also had a very loud family with kids above our room and for hours kids were jumping off beds and stomping on the floors. Complaining didn’t help either. All of this kept us up in the night.

Only stayed one night, but it was a great experience. The rooms are pretty standard, but clean and comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart is the ALL of the staff encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was so refreshing. We had river view rooms and it was nice to be able to open the door in the room to the balcony for fresh air (well aside from the horses downtown) and more light. Pros: Clean Evening reception Breakfast include - a lot of hot/cold choices, including organic options. Small balconies in rooms with chairs. Walk to downtown (parking onsite) Staff Porch in the back, plenty of seating to relax. Cons I did not love the pillows
