Large Group Retreat w/ secluded party room and private pool

Amazing place for a celebration w/different people This place is extremely impressive and was clearly made for parties. We stayed 4 nights for a 50th birthday with a mix of 12-14 friends, relatives and kids. The main house is very nice, clean, and air conditioned, and was perfect to allow kids and people wanting to go to bed earlier to get a great nights sleep and be happy. Meanwhile, the people who wanted to party all night could be in the party house having a great old time and not disturb those other folks at all. The party house is appropriately named and is just not as clean as the main house which is very nice. The party house has amazing facilities for playing games watching movies, and hanging out - it’s just not nice the same way the main house is and I think that is why some other people have left not such great reviews a few times. If you just focus on the fact that it’s pretty amazing that you have a whole separate house here that people can drink and be noisy while not bothering your guests who want to sleep in the main house I think you will understand why we really didn’t care at all that the party house was not as neat as the main one. Then we get to the pool. The pool is amazing. It would be nice if the overflow water in the grotto was a true hot tub, but there is one of those in the bathroom of the master bedroom if you really want that. The pool is huge and really fun with swim up bar area and for the daring a very high platform to jump into the deep end. The neighborhood is just so so but fine.

Buyer BEWARE!!! The pictures on the VRBO & Redfin are old. Prior to our stay, I had multiple exchanges with JJ, the owner. Two weeks prior to our stay, I read over past reviews and noticed that on January 6, 2023, Allie V wrote a review listing multiple problems. I asked if those issues had been addressed. He said that he was going to have a handyman come out, but that didn't happen. There wasn't hot water the entire weekend in the main part of the house and no water at all in the other section of the home. I requested that a plumber come out on Sunday morning. He said that with it being a Sunday, there was no way that he would be able to get a plumber to come out. On of the men staying with us found the shut off valve and when he went to turn it on, water was coming out of a crack in the pipe. The pipes must have froze in the winter and they were not repaired. The listing said that there were 5 bathrooms. We thought that was great considering we had 16 people there. The two bathrooms in the "FUN" part of the house were out of order. Both were completely disgusting. When you had to get from one section of the house to the other, you have to walk through the master bedroom. Other issues: 2 refrigerators in kitchen, only one working, outdoor screens on porch torn or missing and bird poop all over, the sink behind the bar in party room isn’t connected to anything and water went to the floor. Find another house to stay in if you can.

Great party house Really cool property! The house could use some TLC, just certain odds and ends that didn’t work or were damaged. But really had a great time, and the hosts always got back to me. This is the perfect house for a big party. Thank you for having us.

Very disappointing!!! We rented the property because of description of the space, the pool, and in large part because they were rated super host. Unfortunately, although owners took our calls none of the issues below were resolved nor did they provide a refund for their inability to provide the rental property as described. Major Issues The two refrigerators in the kitchen did not work and a full repair was not available until after our trip (parts needed to be replaced). The pool, two issues here - 1.) The pool maintenance people showed up UNANNOUNCED and without warning in the backyard - no respect for privacy and no heads up from the owners either. 2.) The pool was unavailable for 24 hours because it had to be shocked which means maintenance was not up to date Kitchen items not enough for the size of guests. Key appliances were unusable (blender, Keurig,) Upstairs bathtub had standing pool of water, sink is constantly leaking 2nd Washer/dryer did not work Master Bedroom box spring broken, bed is caving in, nails are poking out of the frame, locks on the patio doors do not work Some TV’s did not have power cords or remotes Outdoor Grill unusable, burners were rusted out, flame was inconsistent/concentrated Semi-indoor cooking space near the pool area was filthy & unusable Ceramic tiles coming off in pool (safety hazard) right on the steps into pool Pool table pockets are torn billiard balls fall to the floor every time

Perfect Party House Great for large groups! Even in the winter! Just as much fun on the inside as it is on the outside!
