Archipelagos Hotel

Nice rooms with balcony overlooking port/town. Clean and well serviced. Good breakfast. Stamatatoula and her team were very helpful assisting with carrying luggage up numerous steps to rooms. Very convenient for port and town which offered all shops needed and several good tavernas.

Great location, warm people, nice rooms. All was great! Thank you to Stamatoula who is a great host and takes care of everything. Rooms are nice, veranda has a great view, breakfast is sufficient (would have liked a bit more local items but it was fine). All in all a great experience and a place to come back to

This is a delightful and charming small hotel overlooking the harbour and front of the small town of Fournoi. Our room had a beautiful view over the port. The room was commodious. It was equipped with tea/coffee making. There was a free safety deposit box. It had air con. There was a tv we never used. The bathroom was very pleasant and the shower powerful. There was an obvious pride in the place and it was kept spotlessly clean. There is a bar with outdoor seating area to chill in the evening. The breakfast was very good ( much better than most in Greece) and the eating area was very pleasant. There is a library to take from. And the staffing was excellent. The owner Stamatoula could not have been more helpful, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. So we were there in mid September and the beach bar and organised beaches had shut down. Obviously you could still go and, perhaps, they’re even better out of season. Most are a fair walk ( the exception being Psili Amos - approx 10 mins and, I suppose, Kambi - approx 40 minutes ) but there is a ‘taxi’ minibus service that will take you anywhere you want to go on the island, arrange a stone for pick up and bring you back. Ask Stamatoula to arrange. Fournoi town is quite small and truth be told there’s not much there but that’s its charm. The little square is lovely and, of course, there are boat trips to nearby islands. Liked it a lot

This hotel is not actually open until June even though it is available on ***********? Stamatoula the owner/manager is primarily working in the pharmacy although very kind and helps where possible. The room was adequate but not Superior as I booked in my opinion it was standard however Stamatoula said infarct it was the deluxe twin room. The beds were comfortable and harbour view pleasant. At this time of year the bar, restaurant including complimentary breakfast is not available at the hotel. Fourni is a sleepy unspoiled Greek island with plenty of small cafe bar and tavera serving food and drink although this time of year the menus are limited due to supply issues from mainland.

From the views from the roomy balconies, to the excellent breakfast, this small hotel really does punch above its weight. The rooms are big, elegant and very well appointed, and the staff are friendly and go above and beyond to be helpful. Probably the best hotel, not only on Fourni, but among the surrounding islands too.

Perfect location, and property was even nicer than expected based on the web pictures. Very nice sized room and bathroom, with wonderful balcony overlooking the harbor. Quiet at night, but walkable to everything in town. Very friendly staff and good service.
