We had a wonderful time in the Fossil, Oregon area mostly due to our stay at the Wilson Ranches Retreat B&B. The Buckaroo Suite was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The private bathroom was close to the rooms, which was convenient. Kara and Kaelyn were welcoming hosts and the breakfast was made fresh every morning and it's delicious. My daughter said the horseback ride was memorable. I highly recommend the Wilson Ranches Retreat for a great memorable vacation.

I can see why they have a great rating! Everything was fabulous from the time I first called to inquire about a 1 night stay with my mom. Kara made us feel like long lost relatives coming home. Kaitlyn met us at the front door and showed us around. Her darling little boy helped, too. Kaitlin made sure we were comfortable. Definitely! She catered to our healthy eating habits at breakfast. Delish! They also sat with us and the other guests at breakfast in the morning. Another feeling of family time. The tranquil setting gave us the best nights sleep, as well. We will be back!

Beyond excellent. Being able to be useful on horseback, to see up close and personal how much modern cattle ranches still need horses and cattlemen, was a gift beyond the price of the ride. The wranglers, our guides, were delightful, engaged easily in conversations, took pride in their work, showed interest in our lives as well. The horses were well matched to our needs as riders. We were able to watch a heeler dog in action helping move the herd The wranglers observed the cattle closely for numbers and general health of the stock. Fences were mended and the cattle who had slipped out were returned to the herd. Indoors the decor was lovely, the beds comfy. Our bathroom had the coolest toilet paper holder! The breakfasts were yummy, the conversations around the table riveting. We felt like part of a community. The ability t, relax, enjoy beautiful skies, landscapes, livestock and wild stock, was a break from our usual state of busy. Eat Oregon Beef!

Excellent experience from reservations to checkout. The staff was so warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and cozy. The trail ride on horseback was a special treat. A wonderful quiet get away to enjoy ranch life, wildlife, and the area fossil beds. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast with other guests and staff. Learned about the history of the ranch and area. Can’t wait to go back !

Since we did not find anything better in East Oregon than Wilson Ranches Retreat, we stood there for the fifth time now. It is a really lovely Bed and Breakfast with a lot of extras like beautiful horse back riding, wildlife watching or just enjoy the peace of this silent area. The owner family is very helpful in all questions and make your stay to the best experience in your life!

We can't wait to return to enjoy the wonderful hospitality we received while our family of 4 adults spent 3 days enjoying life on a working cattle ranch. Each breakfast was a bit different, tasty and well presented. The trail rides were more than expected. Learned abut the area, cattle, family, etc. The Sears home was spotless. Every little detail was covered. They truly want you to enjoy staying at this unique bed and breakfast. Family and their employees made you feel you were part of the family.

We absolutely love this ranch! Kara is an incredible host, and Chantelle, Katelyn, Brian, and Casey took amazing care of us. We did two 2 hour rides through beautiful countryside with spectacular views, and the breakfasts were phenomenal!
