Everything was just excellent.!The Wilson family does everything to make you comftable and feel like home. Excellent breakfast. In the kitchen you have everything to prepare a meal. In town you can buy everything you need. We did a 2 hour horseriding. That also was a wonderful experience.

The rooms were nice, the hospitality great and the area was beautiful. Took a great ride on the ranch and saw coyotes and deer. Horses took great care of us as did Brian, our guide. The staff were all welcoming and helpful to find adventures in the area! Recommended adventure.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Wilson Ranches Retreat Bed & Breakfast. We appreciated their warm hospitality and attention to detail for each guest. The horseback ride was so fun and Brian was a great guide! We will definitely be back next year.

Genuine hospitality with a warm family vibe in a beautiful location. Kara and Brian are funny and gracious hosts, the food is delicious and the accommodation comfortable and full of personal touches. It really felt like we were guests in their home. We appreciated the opportunity to learn about some of the details of ranch life as well as some of it's challenges. The opportunity to horse ride will staying on the ranch was an extra treat. Brian was especially patient with our group of first time city slicker riders. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Fossil now that we've discovered this gem.

There are few stay over experiences these days so authentic, comfortable and family focused as this quiet working ranch near Fossil, Oregon. My wife and I (in our 70s) are very familiar with rural living over decades in Alaska and now in retirement on San Juan Island, WA. We are not fooled by, nor interested in modern frippery or pretense. This 6th generation cow/calf ranch and fascinating family nestled in very pleasing terrain offers natural quiet and a hearty breakfast and thought-provoking, easy-going conversation that reminds of simpler times living in a rural landscape and continuing the living history of an interesting place. I would give it 6 stars if I could and plan to return in the fall.

We had a wonderful time in the Fossil, Oregon area mostly due to our stay at the Wilson Ranches Retreat B&B. The Buckaroo Suite was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The private bathroom was close to the rooms, which was convenient. Kara and Kaelyn were welcoming hosts and the breakfast was made fresh every morning and it's delicious. My daughter said the horseback ride was memorable. I highly recommend the Wilson Ranches Retreat for a great memorable vacation.

I can see why they have a great rating! Everything was fabulous from the time I first called to inquire about a 1 night stay with my mom. Kara made us feel like long lost relatives coming home. Kaitlyn met us at the front door and showed us around. Her darling little boy helped, too. Kaitlin made sure we were comfortable. Definitely! She catered to our healthy eating habits at breakfast. Delish! They also sat with us and the other guests at breakfast in the morning. Another feeling of family time. The tranquil setting gave us the best nights sleep, as well. We will be back!
