Compared to other Marriott and Sheraton hotels I've stayed at recently, the decor and design here felt a bit dated. Fortunately, the kind front desk lady (we had a 3-year-old and a 70-year-old with us) upgraded us to a lake view room. The moment we opened the door, everyone was thrilled – what a pleasant start to our stay!
The outdoor pool has a gradual depth transition from 0.9m to 1.5m, which is perfect for kids. The kids' playroom is open from 11 AM to 8 PM on weekends. It's essentially a large conference room with an inflatable slide and plenty of ball pit balls, but the kids absolutely loved it! The breakfast area had a very chic ambiance, and the food selection was quite extensive, including Satay noodles, grilled saury, Cheung fun (rice noodle rolls), and Tofu pudding, among others.
The only thing we found unacceptable was the extremely high humidity in the room. Even with the air conditioning set to 22 degrees on high fan, clothes hung out to dry on Friday night weren't completely dry by Saturday night. Swimsuits and quick-dry pants, despite their material, also took ages to dry. Trying to use the hairdryer was a struggle – it was so heavy and old-fashioned that my arm went numb from holding it up for so long...

This was my second stay. Despite the hotel being 15 years old, its facilities are still surprisingly well-maintained. It's generally comfortable and clean, and the surrounding area is also pleasant. The only downsides are that the twin beds are still only 1.2 meters wide, which makes it very cramped for a family of three. Also, the TVs are quite old.

I had initially booked the 60-square-meter Deluxe Grand Suite. Before my arrival, Noey from the executive lounge proactively reached out to inquire about my preferences and check-in details. This personalized service was incredibly thoughtful. Knowing I preferred a non-smoking room on a high floor, she went above and beyond by upgrading me to an 80-square-meter Executive Suite. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Foshan. Additionally, there's a large night market nearby, which is perfect for an evening stroll.

I'm very disappointed of this hotel, The room bathroom is dirty , Too bad service of the Chinese restaurant, One young man wasn't courtesy 😡😡😡😡, And the buffet western restaurant, When you check in on the restaurant entrance, After no body make care you, Nobody asks you need coffee or tea, this not 5star hotel service.
