Although it is well located, walking distance to the beach, beira mar nd many places, the room was not as I expected. I was told it has a partial kitchen in the room, so I could make breakfast. To my surprise there was nothing when I arrived. I asked for a coffee maker and a microwave, but the told me they only have a heater and pans. I explained them I just wanted something to make coffee, they told me I could have breakfast at the hotel with a cost of 33 Reales, which was not my idea. I could never reach the supervisor neither on the phone nor personally. After 2 days RCI contacted then, the night before my ckeck out I found a coffee maker in the room. By that time I had spent 260 reales having breakfast at a nearby bar with my husband.(which I really like to have a compensation) On the other hand, the room was always clean, the shower was very powerfull, and the bed confortable, but only one night table at the room, I had my suitcase in replace by my side. Due to all these, It is a pity, but I won't come back and I don't recommend it.

Pros: Excellent location; large rooms; except for a official who attended me on the night of the 28th day, all others were very educated and requested; good swimming pool and bar environment for the end of the afternoon; tired breakfast. Contras: small parking. I entered a waiting list, the vacancies around are through the blue zone system (rest limit) and the paid parkings are also loaded; central air conditioning system does not very well ice; Sometimes the breakfast environment is full and there is a waiting row.

Excellent staff. Our room with very moffy, all moffy roof. Very unpleasant. Simple breakfast. That's good for many people. But the girl refused to make omelets. I didn't understand why. Hotel in front of the beach. Good pool but the whole rock loose, very dangerous

All was expected. All was clean, all was clean, air conditioning worked well, restaurant prices very good. I asked for maintenance at the bathroom door that was making very noisy and quickly was answered. The only observation is that breakfast could be better, the pretended served was a little strange, and in general it was all great.

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years, and every year, the condition gets worse. The rooms are very old and tired and in need of renovation, as they haven't done anything to the rooms in the 20 years I have been going there. The swimming pool is not working and is closed, I was told that is has been out of commission for 7 months now, and they still haven't fixed it. But they will charge you extra for a room with a pool view that is closed, what a joke! They have now closed the restaurant, and they are now serving the breakfast in a back room on the floor above. The breakfast at the hotel was once good, but now they have cheaped out on everything with not that many choices, they even water down the scrambled eggs to a point that it is just a sloppy soup that you almost need a spoon to eat it with! There is always at least 1 of the elevators out of order, I was coming from the 2nd floor to the lobby when I got stuck in the elevator. The elevator was stuck about 3 feet from the lobby floor and had no ventilation, I tried to push the alarm button, but it didn't work, and there was no telephone in the elevator either to alert someone that I was stuck in the elevator, which was a little scary! I managed to pry the inside door open and noticed the cables that carry the elevator from floor to floor were in very poor condition and frayed, just an accident waiting to happen. I found a latch on the outer door, and I was able to pry that door open just enough to squeeze through and jump down the 3 feet to the lobby floor. I told the guy at the front desk what had just happened, and he was on the telephone right away, calling someone. I went to the store, which is 3 doors down, and I was back within 10 minutes. He informed me that the elevator was now fixed, and they had a company come in and fix it, I said in 10 minutes? He just shrugged his shoulders! The elevators have not been inspected and in need of maintenance, and they are very dangerous. I will never return to this hotel again, and I would recommend that if you are planning to visit Fortaleza, you look for a different hotel. There are many nice hotels available in the area, but this is not a nice hotel by any means!
