The staff were all friendly with a friendly smile. I think it is the best location. The hotel room is normal. Stayed at a great price.

Great hotel with a “parking” fee added to your room fee - that’s okay in that it is only a small charge and I knew ahead of time as they clearly state that up front - but why not just raise the room rate to match others in the area? Gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, decent breakfast. Would stay again.

Employees are the best go the extra mile, times are tough so it’s been tough finding a rental and they make it feel like home and I feel SAFE.
Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Fort Wayne

They offer no amenities, I’ve been to the office daily after work to get new key cards because they only work for a few hours and then quit. There are used syringes laying through the parking lot, one of my employees is sleeping on the floor because there is no pullout sofa like the site states and they would not give a refund because I booked through my Wyndham app, I’ve called Wyndham and gave them feedback but got a Im sorry for your inconvenience pitch and that was it. They refuse to give us another room. The cleaning person is a guy running around with cleaning supplies and a vacuum wearing his pants below his ass and no shirt on looking like a 309(inmate) in a county jail. My neighbors are fighting as she is throwing his belongings over the rail as I am writing this review. This is not a hotel, more like a slumlord apartment complex. They have not cleaned our rooms once, the god awful smell coming from the dishwasher keeps me up at night on top of guy riding there motorcycle through the courtyard and around the gazebo at night revving his engine, the people that are staying or should I say live here are loud as crap and don’t give a rats ass about anybody else. Pretty sure there is an underage ********** or druggie going in and out of the same four rooms several times a day. There is so much more that I can keep writing so im just gonna say please read reviews…. They are there for a reason… I just want my money back.

The location, close to Fox Island Park, is nice - but also very noisy because of I-69 going right past the rooms on the East side. Upgrading the hotel with soundproof windows could help. It takes earplugs to sleep there. So, if you are noise sensitive, ask for a room away from that side. The rooms are very nice, clean, spacious, with your own little kitchen and good size refrigerator. With a Kroger right across the road, and several restaurant choices, you can more than make up for the little brown baggies that they call ”breakfast”. Extended stay means you'll need to do laundry at some point. For that purpose the hotel offers 4 washing machines and 3 dryers for free. Just bring your own detergent. Very convenient. There's a fitness room with four machines and a basketball hoop out back on the patio for your physical wellbeing and exercise. There is also a small indoor pool - but for the last couple of years it has been ”closed for repairs”. It would be more honest to simply take the mention of a pool and a breakfast off the ads/website/descriptions of the hotel as long as those things really don't exist. Staff throughout the hotel was very attentive, friendly, helpful - which makes up for the minor inconveniences.
