The facility itself is pretty nice, but our unit had some major issues. We rented through Vacasa. 1. The air conditioning quit working. We came in from the pool at 6 to a sweltering condo. Good luck contacting someone after the front desk shuts down at 4. We finally spoke with someone, but it took a lot of time and effort. No maintenance is on the property after 4, so they had to find a contractor to come out at 10 to fix it. My 6 year old was in bed, and it was pretty noisy, but we were thankful we didn’t have to wait until the next day. A drain was clogged, and the repairman acted like it was common there. 2. The dishwasher literally fell apart on Day 1 when we opened the door and couldn’t close it back. After requesting maintenance (while the front desk was staffed), maintenance came on Day 3. 3. One of the bathroom sinks was nearly clogged. You had to periodically turn it off to wash your face, or it would overflow. 4, The clothes dryer was extremely loud, so it couldn’t be run at night. 5. The refrigerator door wouldn’t completely close on its own. It looked closed, but you had to give it a little push to close it completely. We almost ruined our food, but realized it in time. 6. There are several gas grills, but the igniter didn’t work in most of them. My husband went to grill burgers, and a man came over to him with a lighter. He said that he’d need it because of the broken igniter. He had a called the after hours 800 number, and someone brought him a lighter to use. They were aware of the problem, but never fixed it. They just bring people lighters. Some grills would take forever to heat up and cook food, so the men learned which to use. We paid about $4,000 to stay a week. These kind of issues shouldn’t happen for that price. Stay away, and save yourself some problems on vacation!
