Fort Stockton Hotels with Swimming Pools

Best La Quinta I’ve ever stayed in. Clean, fresh, and super comfortable. Would stay there again!

The keys didn't work. The employee didn't believe me and came to my room to check it (1am)... didn't work... when she went back, only 1 key worked, then leave, with no apologize/ not being sorry (with my wife disable sit on the floor while waiting) or at least a ”good night”... They asked for a second credit card for ”in case I break something” Bathroom clean but not perfect Bed does a strong metallic noise from the strings when we move Chair was broken ... Nice but not”great”... good for the price ($70)

Very nice midrange hotel, reasonably priced for a Marriott, but it is in a smaller community. Checked in with the app, but stopped at the front desk for hard copy keys, and that was a quite a nice experience - smiles and friendly. The room was clean, nicely appointed. Not sure what’s with the wallpaper in the hallway - looks like it had an adhesion failure and someone taped it back up with clear packing tape. It had no effect on our stay - I just thought it odd that it hadn’t been dealt with. Aside from that, it was a typical fine stay. The hot items at breakfast were somewhat lacking - appeared to be microwaved breakfast sandwiches being kept warm. Did well with everything else offered, and coffee was good. Would I stay again - probably but I’d check out what else was available in town.

me and a friend stayed there for one night , i noticed as soon as i drove up how unkept the yard was, went in the front lobby looked okay, i was surprised that the entrance to the room was through the outside because i have stayed at other atrium motels and they always have taken me through the front where the rooms are around the pool , got in the car drove to the side and found the room , room had poor lighting with one light not working at all. very poor housekeeping , one leg on the first bed was all lose, later i cleaned the filter on the AC unit because it was really loud when it would run , it was filthy and full of dirt , i felt like leaving and going some where else but when i made the reservation it said no refund so we decided to stay since it was just for one night, pool water appeared clean but all the plants were unkept, it was unreal , like they don't have the personnel to work the place , room and yard are in poor shape and the noise , i could hear all sorta noises from other rooms . i don't even think it is worth 1 star

Look no farther! We travel as two adults no kids no pets. We came in and Karla accepted the match I had online, without question! So check in was super easy, thanks to her! ( we saved a few $’s) Then we had just entered our room and housekeeping (Carmen and Lisa) knocked on our door. They anticipated our needs before we even knew we needed anything. It was a new remote for the TV, I hate going into a room and the tv doesn’t work, but they caught us before we had a chance to even turn it on, the entire staff was friendly and this place felt like home, seriously I would love to stayed at least a month here! The room (107) was a great location we were only steps away from everything, exit, pool, gym, and breakfast area! Breakfast was amazing, they had hot food, rotated between ham, sausage, eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, cold cereals, danishes, I could go on and on, there’s something for everyone! We turned one night into 4 nights we enjoyed ourselves there so much. The pool and hot tub area were great, the pool could of been a little warmer for us but the hot tub was nice and hot. The gym had the basics, weights, stationery bike, treadmill, all clean! Our room was spotless, we had a fridge and microwave, and the bed was comfortable. There’s several restaurants a Walmart and a few stores in town, and it’s worth checking out the Roadrunner sculptor too! All in all this was a perfect home base for us to go to Big Bend National Park, also located with an easy on and off of highway 10 and several other parks are located within hours away such as Guadalupe and White Sands, which we did the day we left. I wish we could find a hotel like this every night we stop! I would stay again obviously and will definitely recommend to friends and family to stay here! As long as the prices stay around $75 it’s a terrific deal!

Nice HIE with newer flooring instead of carpet. Convenient size bathroom that worked for two people. This was a travel stop for one night and suited us just fine. The computer was down when we arrived but we were given rooms and that didn't present a problem. We stopped by the desk on the way out.

We were here to go to Big Bend. All the staff here were great and had us upgraded to a large double when we arrived. Very nice girls on the desk as was everybody we came in contact with during our stay. Very good breakfast and lady taking are of it kept it well stocked. Housemaid was very nice and cleaned up our room well.

Stayed one night while on the road. The room was prepaid (I had redeemed points), however upon arrival they asked for a credit card ”for incidentals”. The property is old and dated. Quiet location with no street noise, but they allow pets and I could hear dogs barking in the rooms nearby. The room was dated with a badly stained couch and mismatched furniture. There was a chair but no desk (unlike stated in the reservation); instead, there was a pretty useless low coffee table. Amenities included mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Plenty of power outlets. Comfortable bed and pillows. Shower with good water pressure. Wifi worked well. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was included, but by 09:00 (breakfast time ended at 09:30) there was hardly anything left, and the pancake machine wasn't working. Upon departure, I didn't ask for a receipt since the room was prepaid. However, a couple of days after my stay I noticed that my credit card had been charged the full price. I called the property shortly after 09:00 and was told that ”it wasn't a good time to call” (sic) because they were busy with breakfast. Eventually they checked and said it had been an error and the charge will be reversed. I'm still waiting for the refund.
