Tranquilo

Can walk to beach and restaurant. Had kitchenette fully supplied with pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc.

I was very pleased with my stay at Tranquilo. I had a late arrival and they were very accomodating. Once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room and a very friendly staff. The rooms were minimally decorated but had everything I needed and were clean. The walls were a bit thin though as I could hear the people in the room next to mine but the AC or TV covered up the sound. Traveling as a solo female I felt very safe walking the area and on the grounds. I would certainly stay here again.

Tranquilo was a wonderful spot for our week long vacation. The staff was helpful and friendly. Staff did daily cleaning and made our bed each afternoon. Heated pool on site and a hot tub down the street. ******* did not mention that it was a resort access location where you could visit other area hotels and use their amenities. Easy walk to beach and convient electric car service was available for transportation within reasonable distances. Hotel room looked a little bit different from pictures but you won't be in your room much anyways with all there is to do in the area!

Hidden gem! Friendly service, clean, convenient. Not "luxury" but very clean and comfortable. I loved the smaller size compared to the giant buildings with hundreds of units. Close to beach and plenty of restaurants and stores but a quieter area.

Excellent staff, very accommodating and professional. The room was clean, fresh, and spacious. Wonderful stay, would highly recommend!

This place was a cute, quite and very close to the beach. The parking fee was reasonable and staff was friendly.

The hotel is well maintained. Our room was cleaned every day. The restaurants near by. We love the wine garden, the villa bar and the patio bistro. We will definitely go back.

I normally dont write reviews but i felt the need to warn people about this hotel. My experience here was largely negative - with the one bright spot being the staff. Here is what I experienced: 1) Office wasnt staffed - either during checkin or check out 2) My first room had such a strong chemical smell that i had to request a different room 3) Shower in first room had peeling paint and shower head sprayed water 4) Second room was orders of magnitude better - however there was still issues - notably: 4a) Adjoining room door had gap at bottom which allowed me to see(more feet than anything) light from other room beside me, but more significantly I had the joy of listening to my neighbors having private conversations (very clearly) 4b) Like the first room the second room also had a incorrectly installed shower head that sprayed in various directions. And like the main room the walls were paper thin and whenever using the washroom could enjoy one of the neighbours (i think downstairs this time) tv viewing like i was in same room. So why write this? I would have had the conversation with staff but unfortunately no one was in the office at check out time and my attempts to reach via the ring doorbell basically resulted in being asked to drop the door key into the mail box vs being able to communicate with staff directly. In either case I dont recommend this hotel

This is obviously an older hotel. But our queen suite appeared to be recently renovated. Bed was comfortable. We had a couple of minor problems (doorknob malfunction-beeping, and new batteries needed.) We called the front desk and both were fixed very quickly. The staff were completely awesome!! I would stay here again.
