Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach Reviews

Very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Parking details should be clearly outlined at the time of reservation.... and I thought the umbrella fee was excessive on top of the resort fee in my opinion although not a future deterrent.

The worst hotel I ever been in! The housekeeper opens the door whenever they want with their key ! 4am the security come and knock the door!

Excellent service and cleanliness. Nice location 1.5 miles from Las Olas Blvd. Very recommended!

This is our favorite place and our 4 th year coming to the Sonesta on spring break. The staff is excellent and we love seeing the same faces year after year! They have always been accommodating and the property is always clean! It is right on the beach and there are loads of good eating places within walking distance. Can’t wait to return soon!

Property was right on the beach. The pool was heated which was VERY nice. Using a key card to come and go any place in the hotel was kind of annoying. No microwave in our room. Valet was $$$

Nice hotel, great view of the ocean. A bit confusing breakfast buffet situation. On ******* they advertise breakfast buffet, but they actually don’t offer that. You have to order the food. It’s a sit down restaurant.

Loved the property, didn't enjoy the restaurant. Small menu, food wasn't great and not enough staff.

Property is fine. Check in was not very smooth. They make you wait for no reason. Had to go and ask three times. Finally checked in at 4.45 pm.

CLOSE TO BEACH, ELEVATORS ARE SLOW AND SMALL.THERE WERE SEVERAL BILL DISPUTES WE WITNESSED.I BELIEVE THIS WAS RELATED TO DINING CHARGES

We had a nice stay. The ocean view from our room was lovely. The pool was the perfect temperature. The restaurant was fine, with a somewhat limited menu and slow but friendly service. We had a small issue with our room that wasn’t resolved but on checkout they waived one of the resort fees as compensation, which was more than fair. Overall a beautiful hotel and a great view of the beach!
