Dirty room, unhelpful staff. Not the standard of Holiday Inn. Im book them everywhere and never had this experience

The building and room seemed clean, but seemed very humid and musty when we walked in. Staff was friendly and efficient. Pool was closed by the time we got back from dinner at 7/730.
Personally it is not a $200 a night hotel.

I think Lynette who served us breakfast was awesome, she is an example of customer service. Loved the raffle, be careful I might steal her. Sales Manager was awesome she came and greeted us and helped us obtain our receipts so we wouldn't have to wait.

The stay was fine. Staff friendly, breakfast OK and room was fine. Some channels on Tv didnt work :-(.
Location is superb.
Only reason I dont give higher marks was check in. we didnt get a room until AFTER the 300 pm check in time. We finally got a room at 320 pm. This is unacceptable. Others got rooms but I think they were members of the loyalty program which, in a way, is understandble. Having said that, being denied a room after check in time is unacceptable. No apologies, no credit, no nothing-very poor......

Staff are helpful and nice but the airport shuttle pick up was confusing. The signage on the side of the shuttle bus is not clear as there are several Holiday Inn Express in Fort Lauderdale.

The room has been renovated and very nice; beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good.
The receptionist at check-in was unfriendly but the one at check-out was very nice.
The nearby plazas have quite a few empty spaces. We had a good dinner at a Thai restaurant.

Love the location, so close to the airport, restaurants, water taxi and cruise port. Room was large, bed comfortable and nice shower. Breakfast is always good and we love the breakfast lady who is so friendly and energetic! We will be back.

Driver for airport shuttle service said he looked for us but yet no one showed up and had to take a Uber. I was on the phone with the hotel but no show
