Be careful as the rooms can be VERY tiny (see photo as half the room is a slanted ceiling)and greatly over priced. The website advertises apartment style rooms but what we got was small, cramped, and mediocre in quality for the price. Our most significant issue was that dealing with the site manager (Martin) was greatly frustrating. There was poor communication in our room booking (we had three rooms) even when we had a confirmation. Our arrival was met with rudeness and disinterested in professional service. At 5 pm the shops close. If you come to Fort Augustus, come for the day and stay in another nearby location.

2025 Good parking for the motorbike off the road. Well maintained with friendly welcome. Location just outside the town very convenient. Room was clean with lovely bathroom We had a front king room. Breakfast was fresh and suited us. @ Our room had so much furniture in the small fridge with nothing in not even a bottle of water was at the end of the bed which I could hardly get round. Could be set out better with accessible house kitchen don't think it's needed in the room. No hand lotion or tissues which at the price we just thought the little extras were not there

You can’t beat this ideal location!’ The room was so clean with great view of the lochs. We walked to a boat for a tour and got to see many boats come thru the lochs— what a lot of work but amazing to watch how the loch system works! Wish the shop below stayed open later(close at 4:30) and opened earlier for those that need a good coffee boost in the morning!! We would definitely stay here again!! Very impressed with the renovations they did on this place! Stair well was nicely lit up . Love this place best of everywhere we stayed in Scotland!

For the price was quite disappointed in the property. Firstly needed a key code to enter which I didn't have. Called and told email sent. Never received. Couldn't find room. Number fallen off door. Staff member did appear and guided us to room. Kettle had to be put on floor to use. Breakfast disappointing, although continental, very basic and you had to do everything yourself. No personal touches. Would not use again

Interesting place, code needed in advance to get entry into building to a room with key in door. DIY kitchen arrangement which gives it a hostel feel, that's not a negative, gives you options to cook your own evening food. Room was a bit cramped, we had a double and a single, could have done with just a double in the room really. We ate out in the lovely Fort Augustus village which is really worth a walk around. Breakfast was simple but could have done with a bit more variety.

on the main road in fort Augustus, but very quit. lovely place to rest up after a walk. up canal. comfy bed, in family room. 1x double, 1x single complimentary breakfast was great and filled you up for the day. kitchen area had all you needed . tv was broke in room, but had big screen in lounge
