La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Forsyth

Nice and clean accommodations for what I was in town for.

Need a flashlight to see and select your clothes in the closet. Missing lightbulb in overhead light in bathroom was promised to be replace three days in a row but never done. Very dim lights, wife had to go to the window to apply her cosmetics.

Picked as a trip halfway point. Pleasantly surprised at the facility. Was in great shape and the staff was very helpful with all our request from directions to dining recommendations.

This was a nice hotel and easy to access off I-75. Very clean and friendly staff. Quick to get checked in and get a good nights rest!

This hotel was great after a long day of driving. The bed was very nice, the room was clean and the walk-in shower with glass door was a nice touch, rather that the hotels that are stuck in the, lets update the rest of the place but the shower situation. The only two complaints I have are first, when we checked in, I booked a King room with a pull-out sofa bed, and paid the extra to get that room, they tried to give me a 2 queen when checking in, and that didn't work for us. They did however switch it and gave us the room we paid for, so all was good, it just shouldn't have happened when I paid for the king room, and they tried to switch it on me. The second complaint I have was that the sofa bed we did get was fine for my 13-year-old because we could cover it, but it had stains all over it, which I was not a fan of. If we were staying for more than one night I would have asked to be switched or something else, but like I said it was one night, and my daughter was fine with it being covered as it served its purpose. Overall, the hotel was very nice, the breakfast was better than any other hotel we stayed at on our vacation and I am glad we chose this as our stop on our way back home.

Heavy Mildew and Soaked Carpet Upon arrival into our room at 1:00 am. We were greeted by a VERY HEAVY mildew smell. We alerted the front desk. He offered us 2 separate rooms (the only way 6 could be accommodated). Our kids did not want to sleep on pull out couches after a long day on the road. So we opted to keep our King, and 2 Queen Suite. We went on to find that the carpet was saturated with water throughout a very large area, presumably from the AC Unit. A miserable stay after just needing to get a good nights rest on the road from IL to FLA.
