The hotel is surrounded by greenery and tranquility of Forio. In front of Cava beach (reachable via 60 steps) and one bus stop from the beautiful Citara beach (stop right outside the hotel). It has a fairly large swimming pool which can unfortunately be accessed without a swimming cap. The internal structure is dated, as is the restaurant room on the lower floor. The furnishings in the rooms are also well kept but rather old. Unfortunately, the windows and balconies are not equipped with mosquito nets, which are essential in a place surrounded by greenery. The hotel offers a shuttle service on request and not at set times to the beaches of Citara and Chiaia until 8pm. It would have been perfect if it was also active in the evening given that the hotel is not in the center of Forio. Unfortunately, the seafront, to reach the center in the evening, appears to be isolated and the route is rather long to do with children. Certainly the added value of this hotel is the cuisine. Excellent quality products prepared excellently by chef Peppe who makes even a simple dish of penne with tomato sauce or a gypsy tasty. It's a shame that we didn't have the pleasure of seeing and meeting him. His first courses are delicious, always al dente pasta, but also the starters, second courses, vegetables, all delicious. His lemon caprese is super. The breakfast was good but perhaps a little repetitive. The maitre is available and always attentive to satisfy our every request, and the waiter Angelo is kind. Thanks for the shuttle service to Diego and Adriano for their kindness and friendliness. We plan to return next year, hoping to find the mosquito nets which are very important, maybe even the shuttle service in the evening, but most of all the cuisine of chef Peppe:)
