Loved it as a cheap nice stay to go out and about and come back to, the staff were amazing and they even shuffled rooms to let us extend our stay for the tennis open weekend (super busy weeeknd)

I have stayed at Footscray motor inn numerous times & I've honestly never had any issues at all.
The spa is great, the rooms are clean & perfect sizing for how ever many people are staying.
Reception are wonderful.
The location is perfect whether you have a car or on transport the tram & a few different buses right at the doorstep train station within walking distance.
Plenty of choices for shops if needed.
Only thing I'd suggest that could be better is maybe a microwave & or toaster. Also some cutlery & crockery but that's all.

It's very clean and spacious inside. I think it's a very good motel. You can park your car downstairs for free.
There is a transparent skylight above the shower area, so you can feel the sunlight, which is very comfortable! There are many restaurants nearby!
The location is still very good!
