It's OK, but the price is still a bit high, and I didn't have much time to experience the swimming pool.

There is a free parking lot. Turn right out of the hotel and walk straight for 5 minutes to reach the Palace of Fontainebleau, which is very convenient. After checking out in the morning, luggage can be stored at the front desk, and the car is still parked at the hotel. But it is not recommended to dine in the hotel, the price is twice as expensive as the restaurant near Fontainebleau Palace. Everything else is good.

Rooms are basic. No PowerPoints in bathroom. Basically no bathroom products. I had to ask for conditioner as they only provided a combined liquid shampoo / soap. No body lotion, shower caps, cotton buds etc. I don’t mind bringing my own if I know, but most basic hotels provide this nowadays. The dinner service was slow. I waited an hour for bread, but after asking 3 times, I gave up. This is disappointing given it is part of Accor. Fontainebleau is home to Executive Education provider, INSEAD. The hotel needs to do better.

Was a very pleasant stay - near to town and chateaux. Extremely well presented and rooms clean and fresh. Good parking and easy to find. Restaurant was excellent and good selection of local produce. Shame it was raining as outside living areas would have fantastic to have a falls of wine - as expected by mercure

The hotel is well situated in the center of the city. Large car park. Confortable and quiet rooms. facilities for meetings are well equiped : meeting rooms and places to work quietly in the lobby. The minus point but I recognise subjective is the variety of food : main dishes are a large variation of beef carot. The quality of the food is very good but once is ok, twice can be accepted but every day is too much.

We stayed here for two nights, as we wanted to have plenty of time to visit the Chateau de Fontainebleau, which is about a ten minute walk straight down the road. There is a car park on site, although when we arrived it was a Sunday afternoon and the hotel was very busy, we did manage to find one small parking space in the end. There is garage parking if the car park is full, for a small fee. We drove past the hotel the first time, as it is also called Demeures de Campagne, which was a bit confusing as we thought it was the wrong hotel. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, which was good after our long drive. The room on the third floor was spacious and modern, although the bathroom had an over-bath shower (slippy bath) and was a bit dated. There are tea and coffee-making facilities (not all French hotels have these) with decent large china mugs, much appreciated after so many hotels provide paper cups. We usually bring our own teabags, as French hotels often only provide herbal/mint or lemon teabags. The room was a bit hot, despite the aircon. There is an attractive garden to sit outside and have a drink. We didn't use the pool or other leisure facilities, but there seemed to be plenty to do. We sat outside for dinner the first night, and inside the second night as storms were expected. We found the food better than some reviews indicate. I enjoyed two entrees and dessert as I often find main courses too filling. The pretty vintage crockery - mostly different and attractive designs - was a nice touch. We didn't have the breakfast as the area near the Chateau has several cafes. Fontainebleau was heaving and extremely busy when we arrived on the Sunday, so it was good to have somewhere to park. Monday was much quieter (note the Chateau is closed Tuesdays).

This is the biggest disappointment This is how I have received the food , room service without cover the bottle already open . I don’t understand and they said that it is their way to do room service. I’m soooo disappointed is not worthy for the money that we are spending here . This is our toilet dirty with some marks
