We had a wonderful stay at Orchard Lodge, for three nights to celebrate my 80 th Birthday. They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, 11 of us altogether, stayed there, and they provided their Marquee for the Saturday night Pig Roast, We then had 25 on Sunday, for the most delicious meal Thank you so much , Highly recommend this restaurant, Breakfast was brilliant too Thanks Very much Janet and David

If you are ever fortunate to stay at Orchard Lodge Wolds restaurant and accommodation, you will love the experience. Lucinda and Andrew are the most welcoming and attentative of hosts ; the rooms are clean , comfortable and well appointed. The dining experience is lovely. An intimate dining room with great service and wonderful food, mainly locally sourced. You won’t disappointed with your stay here, I assure you.

Simply the most personal service and the most delightful hosts, with one of the finest dinners I have ever had. No, I am NOT being paid for the review! It is simply that good!! This offers the true Yorkshire country experience yet so close to Filey. The freshest foods, homely room and the two best owners possible!

Orchard Lodge is a fantastic little gem. I couldn't recommend it more strongly. The location is perfect for exploring the area. The accommodation is excellent and the welcome perfect. The quality of the food in the Wolds Restaurant was exceptional and you would have to travel a long way to beat it. There is a real focus on local supply with everything being sourced within a small area where possible. This went as far as the bar as well. We had a fantastic Yorkshire wine and I highly recommend the Filey Gin. All in all a fantastic three days.

We had a wonderful meal at the Orchard last night. We had seen the previous five star reviews and decided to book and our expectations were surpassed. It was the first time we had been and decided to go for a birthday meal. The food was outstanding in terms of it's quality, taste and presentation. The hosts were very warm and friendly and the dining area very comfortable with a lovely open fire on a cold night. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning - a real gem!

Had the pleasure to stay at Orchard Lodge for a week last Summer,having travelled from NI. It is the perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire. Andrew and Lucinda were wonderful hosts in a very relaxing setting. The rooms and breakfasts were excellent with ample space in the private car park. Hope to return at some stage in the future.

A little night away with the wife and Kevin (our whippet). Orchard Lodge is perfect for dogs. Kevin loved running around the orchard which is enclosed. Nice touch of taking a charity donation for a dog staying rather than charging you. We sat in the garden in the evening and had a couple of drinks in the summer house. Really nice and welcoming place. Room was comfortable and had everything you need. Breakfast was good and set us up nicely for our planned day at Fraisthorpe Beach. Would go back again.

What a find! The restaurant was lovely. Food superb. Friendly welcome and attentive service. Looking forward to our next visit very soon. A really interesting menu which I understand changes frequently. On the menu are unusual dishes, beautifully presented. At last, a restaurant near Scarborough that serves food at a Michelin star level. Recommended

Fine dining at its best and at reasonable prices .Perfect menu by chef Michael Burgoyne .Setting and location perfect .Wonderful friendly staff lead by owners Andrew and Lucinda. Perfect location The menu changes weekly and features the best of local produce .
