Hotel Uygar

This isn't a complaint . it's more of an observation. We arrived at night and were shown to our room, although English was very limited but we got by, and the staff were very helpful. We went out to grab a couple of things from the supermarket, I'm glad we brought our travel kettle as there's no kettles in the rooms, the room we had is a bit outdated, furniture wise, we knew we weren't going to a 5* hotel, so we didn't expect too much, we had 1 small built in wardrobe with some hangers, and a safe, we had what looked like a dressing table with no drawers and a computer desk, we didn't have any drawers or anywhere to put clothes, we basically lived out our cases for the week, the cleanliness was about average, the shower head was broken so we had to hold the shower head when going for a shower, the shower had good power to it. The WiFi was ok, considering we were on the 2nd floor, therrs no elevators in the hotel. the location was OK, 5 min walk to the main promenade where all the bars and restaurants and of course the beech, the owners are lovely, we managed to communicate via, Google translate, they took us back to Dalaman airport at a price, this isn't free. I may go back to this place, but maybe a different room and lower level. However, it wouldn't be my first choice, for what we paid, £360, for the week.

Wonderful, friendly hotel run by Zeynep and Nasuh. Zeynep, a retired teacher, taught French previously and this was very useful for some visitors. They were both also willing to rely on Google Translate which was very helpful. They provided many useful tips about places to visit and restaurants to eat in as well as organising a cheap taxi for us too! I booked last minute and was on the top floor (3 floors) which wasn't as bad a walk as I expected! The room was more than adequate for 3 people with a single and double bed and en-suite shower room. The aircon was a lovely addition! Although not spotless, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served downstairs in shaded area and breakfast room. There was plenty of choice, mostly local cuisine which was lovely.

Great family run hotel. The staff is very friendly, kind, and caring. They are also very accommodating to customers. They serve a great breakfast daily and help you with anything you may need such as a taxi or setting up tours. The owners are very helpful and provide great hospitality. I highly recommend.

Robbers !!!! Careful with this hotel - they used my credit card while I was not in the room. I hope they shut down this place soon. NEVER EVER CHOOSE THIS HOTEL. Soyguncular !!!! Stayed 1/4 biggts. Old tired building. Small room for 3. Smell of smoke throughout. Tiny balcony. No refund given No no no! ! Kalmasinniz eski, her taraf sigara kokusu vardi para vermek yok! Hayir hayir.

For me this was a great location just on the fringes of the city. We were a short drive to what we wanted. The hospitality here was terrific. The patio area was great for socializing in the evenings. The breakfast was terrific. The owners are a sweet family that are very interested in their guests.
