Very nice place to stay in a very good location. We traveled from Tikal and spent the night here. Amazing views from hotel window. Room nice and clean and no noise. A lot of pubs and restaurants and souvenirs shops around. We drove with our own car and you can park just outside the hotel.

This hotel is a modest local property. Unpretentious but roomy and clean. Villa del Lago is not a luxury hotel but offers good value for anyone visiting Tikal or surrounding areas. Bus transportation from Belize or Guatemala is readily available. English is limited but the staff try hard to communicate and meet your needs. It is located on the island, outside Flores proper, which is a benefit.

Magnificent hotel with very nice rooms and a beautiful view of the water. Several terraces available to have a drink facing the water. Well located in the heart of Flores. No parking but plenty of spaces available on the street.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, from the terrace you can see the wonderful sunset with its colors reflected in Lake Petén Itzá, the workers are very helpful. They have tourist services close to the island of Flores.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the lake, the sunset is spectacular, the colors that can be seen from the terrace are phenomenal. I went with my mother and my sister. The room was very suitable for the 3 of us, very large and comfortable beds. The hotel is not very new but ideal for resting.
