Florence Hotels with Airport pickup service

The people at the front desk were great and very helpful. The location is good. However, the hotel is very old and tired. The beds were hard as a rock. They even gave me a thin mattress topper but it was like putting that in the floor-so still a very hard bed. We had the two bedroom suite. All it is is two separate rooms which when you books it as a suite, they are close together. However, it’s no suite. Even the towels were torn apart. I would give it a 3 stars only because the people were nice. But in no way is this a 5 star hotel.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for Epiphany with the whole family, we are two parents with two children. We had a great time and will definitely be back! The hotel is wonderful in an evocative setting, along the Arno, it is also very close to the Ufizzi, the old bridge and the center. The staff is extremely kind and hospitable. For us it has become a place of the heart! Absolutely to try !!! ♥ ️

We stayed for 3 nights in April, the Hotel was clean, convenient, quiet and comfortable. The staff were lovely without exception. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff and room service were friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome. Our room was at the rear of the hotel (204) with a balcony which was a pleasant surprise. The view was nothing special as it overlooked the rear of other properties but it was nice and comfortable and very quite. There is a Spa that you can book for your exclusive use. This is sometimes included in your deal but otherwise is 25 euros each for 50 minutes and well worth it. The view from the roof top is superb and you can get a drink from the reception bar and take it up there or even take your own bottle of wine! Breakfast centres mainly on pastries, fruits and meats. There is a “hot” option of eggs and bacon but is only ever warm at best. However, the pastries are very nice and more than enough available. It also has to be the most convenient trip I have ever experienced from Airport to hotel! Exit the airport turn left and walk to the tram stop about a minute away. Take the T2 tram to UNITA and get off at Rosselli. That’s it!, it takes about 20 minutes and when the t4am leave you will be facing the hotel. It cost 1.50 euros each. You can buy the tickets on the tram platform but I would visit the shop Hudson as others have mentioned on here and get them there as there can be a queue to get your ticket on the platform. Don’t forget to slide it into the machine to validate it when you board. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk for the “Dome” in the centre and about 25 minutes to the bridges on the river. There are some excellent restaurants such as Casa Ciabattini and Osteria Vecchio Cancellous within 6/7 minute walk both of which I would highly recommend. I would not hesitate to return.

The hotel is in a good location, close to major attractions, and has a high safety factor; The weird experience was that the first person who received me was an Italian ***** fat male staff member whose name started with *, and he did not follow the room level I booked; after that, I spent time reconfirming the hotel order and reported it to another staff member at the front desk. The staff reassigned a room that met the booking level, a completely different room type, and I was finally satisfied with the room. I hope that in the future, Italian hotel staff will provide Chinese 🇨🇳 customers with rooms that meet the booking type as soon as possible. Refuse to delay the precious travel time and abundant energy of Chinese 🇨🇳 customers. Refuse to try to influence the impeccable and happy mood of Chinese 🇨🇳 customers with trivial tricks. The Calimala is perfectly situated to all of the sites in Florence. But, more than that, I can't say enough great things about the staff at Calimala. I (don't judge me) decided to drive from Positano to Florence. When I arrived in Florence the streets were so busy and I was lost. I phoned the hotel and was fortunate to speak with Lavinia who stayed on the phone with me and guided me all the way to the hotel. It took quite awhile because of all of the one way streets. Jessica was also extremely helpful in the morning to return the car. She spoke with the taxi driver so, that he knew I would follow him to return the car and assisted with getting the driver and anything else we needed. Stephano was also extremely helpful and courteous. We went to the Angel Restaurant Rooftop each night for drinks and one night for dinner. There George was our ”person”. He ensured we had a seat and took care of our drink orders with professionalism, courtesy, and a sense of humor. Thank you to the entire team at Calimala! The location is very good, you can walk to the Uffizi, the Cathedral of Flowers, etc., very convenient. Because the hotel is located in the old city, the house is relatively old, but overall the experience is good.

The location is close to the train station and it is very convenient to walk for about 10 minutes. Many attractions can also reach the destination by walking in about 15 minutes. Shopping is more convenient for high-spending people. There is a super attentive service at the front desk

Hotel Calzaiuoli is right in the middle of EVERYTHING, great for people-watching and walking to the major sights of old Florence. We had two rooms, one of which had an interesting feature where the bathroom was up a small flight of 4-5 stairs from the main bedroom. Very interesting and fancy-looking, though it was a bit nerve-wracking trying to navigate the stairs in the dark of the middle of the night. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with good sized beds and bathroom space, though our twin bed room's bathroom was considerably smaller than the other. In-room safes are available for valuables and the overall vibe is very light and airy with high ceilings and big windows (again, great for people-watching on the street). Breakfast is a mixed bag, with savory options not really very good (eggs seemed to be powdered reconstituted eggs, and bacon was very floppy) but quite an amazing spread of pastries. If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast, there are plenty of cakes and tarts, even macarons if you choose to partake. Coffee is best if you wait for one of the attendants to offer a cappuccino or espresso rather than serving yourself from the carafe on the warmer. The location can't be beat, with the Duomo no more than a couple of blocks to the right and the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi only a few blocks in the opposite direction. There are a lot of shops along the street which makes for quite a bit of pedestrian traffic, though as with much of old Florence, vehicle traffic is very restricted and so it's nice to walk around and window-shop.

Book a triple room, the room has a sofa bed, European-style decoration, very suitable for the style of this place in Florence, the hotel is also fully equipped. The hotel has a good breakfast, especially like the open-air rooftop restaurant, and breakfast is also a pleasure. The location of the hotel is very good, basically walk.

The room is super large, the roof is very high, the room layout is very beautiful, it is said that the sofa cushion is changed every half a year. The traffic is quite convenient, 10 minutes walk from Baihua Church, not noisy at night.
