It's in a good location downtown, and the hoteliers are very friendly. The bedding was also clean. For the price, there is an elevator so it's great for carrying luggage. However, there is no soundproofing, and the water coming out of the tap is not good. Recommended for those who are light sleepers. The water filter also turned black immediately. It was good value for money.

Everything is thoughtfully provided. The room was extremely clean and sheets and towels were of a high quality. This is a jewel of a find, in a central location, opposite the Pritti Palace and about a minute's walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast can be bought at any bar, but one nearby offers a discount for guests of the residenza.

Very welcoming and caring staff. The room was excellent. No complains. It is located in the city center, near the biggest tourist attractions. Near the place is a cafe that provides breakfast with a discount if you are from this Residenza. 10/10

Andrew is a great host. He was helpful and even waited for us on the city street to make sure we will find the place. The building is old so that was a bonus, the room was cozy and clean. The place is basically in the city center,5 minute walk from "the bridge of gold".

Great location. Very central. Bed was comfortable & the pillows were very good quality. The room was clean. Very secure as there was 2 doors with our own key.Breakfast was not available which wasn't a problem. There's plenty of cafés in the area. Disliked · Andrew our host was not very welcoming at all. I found him very abrupt & actually rude. He lacked warmth. There was a lady at reception when we were checking out & she was so friendly & helpful. I feel that she should greet all the guests on arrival

I almost did not write this review because I did not want to share what a great find this is, but the delightful and warm owners Andrew and Paola deserve all the business they can handle. This small hotel is situated in a picturesque classic Florentine building facing the Pitti Palace so it is a great location. The price was incredibly reasonable for a large room, "the Duomo," that was gigantic by European standards, with a very comfortable and firm bed and all modern room conveniences. Both Andrew and Paola made themselves very available. When because of a strike, I thought I might need to stay in Florence another day (one could have far worse problems), Andrew immediately swung into action and was ready to refer me to an associate's hotel as they were fully booked. This is a 4 star operation disguised as a 3 star hotel, with 2 star prices to boot! Highly recommended for the discerning traveler
