For my husband's 40th birthday we stayed at the castle. The suggestion was from my sister who had already been there for the anniversary. We had chosen the package with dinner which was served to us by candlelight in a lounge overlooking Florence. Everything was beautiful. we had chosen the Carlo Magno with a beautiful round bed, and we found ourselves engaged like many years before. This was the real gift. It was an unforgettable stay, a moment just for us. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Simple but well cooked flavors at dinner which is not to be taken for granted, and the breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared, you could feel it from the warm bread, and from the delicious eggs and bacon. To be recommended

Once you enter the internal courtyard you appreciate the silence despite being 10 minutes away from Florence. The building shows the signs of time, being more than 1500 years old as we were told, inside the hall where breakfast is served overlooks the city. We had the Beato Angelico room, which was small but had a beautiful hydromassage tub and a spectacular view of Florence. A love nest for a weekend

Outdated, neglected castle, rooms with exposed rusty pipes. It was certainly a beautiful resort in its day, now it remains just a mediocre guesthouse. Breakfast with sub-brand and packaged products. Hydromassage full of limescale and not working so much so that it flooded our room. Too bad I don't recommend it, better a hostel.

We gave a package with two nights plus a special dinner to some dear friends for their 60th birthday... what can I say, it was a terrible experience for them... and a disappointment and a fool for us!!! At the time of booking we were enthusiastic and full of expectations especially for those who would have to take advantage of the expensive gift.... 🎁 dirty and unkempt room, little cleanliness even at dinner etc.... a real disaster. The owners are kind but I think it's not enough,....I think instead we should work on user services....because the landscape and the location....very beautiful..!!! Too bad it's only appearance!!!!!
