Hotel Palazzo Guadagni

The hotel is like a little undiscovered gem:You walk through and archway through to an elevator that takes you to the thirdfloor. Here you find the reception and the roof bar/terrace bar. Its situated in a quiet plaza that has a market every day and is peppered by restaurants with outdoor seating. The greeting and communication for the staff is very special - they are so nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is a lovely ancient building probably dating from the 16th Century. The room was large and roomy with old fashioned wardrobe and exposed beams. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely ensuite bathroom. Outside our room was a large landing with a sofa and table which we used as an extra sitting room. The breakfast was lovely and so was the roof bar. The cleanliness was outstanding and the cleaning staff were delightful. I can't really understand why this is classed as a 3 star hotel - its has a wonderful shabby chic vibe and an ambience that makes it feel like a boutique hotel run by a family of taste and style Disliked · Only the smallest of *******: I'd have liked a mirror in the bedroom where you could see yourself at full length - there was a lovely dressing table and a mirror in the bathroom. Maybe a warning about the entrance in the initial communication from the hotel - when you look up and see the flag you guess that the reception is above and maybe its a nice surprise but when you are a bit tired it would be helpful. One thing I liked (but people of limited mobility may not) is that there are beautiful stone stairs to the rooms

What a fabulous pastime, sitting on the terrace of this elegant old Florentine hotel, high above Santo Spirito,….enjoying a *****ni ….what else? I would highly recommended this hotel bar for a drink in this wonderful location.

this hotel is in a great place in the city, perfect walking distance for great shopping, sites, restaurants, and museums!! it has a beautiful view and the rooms are just as beautiful. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating! I highly recommend this hotel!! :)

We stayed in a beautiful family room. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with rooftop view. Very nice location. We couldn’t ask for more during our stay in Florence as a family of 4. Thank you so much!

The Palazzo Lorenzo is clean, comfortable and offers a nice breakfast. The front desk staff is very helpful. It it a 15-20 minute walk from the historic center and 5 minute walk from bus stops servicing the city and train station. We will stay here again when we return to Florence.

The moment you arrive downstairs you have a good impression . A lift awaits you to the 3rd floor where the reception is as well as a great roof bar maroccan style . The staff is very nice . After checking in - I wanted to leave my luggage for later . When arriving later , my luggage was already put in my room ( v nice gesture ). I booked a as classic room . I waxx as given number 5 next to the bar . Even though Classic It was a wow factor : great view - nice bed . Great feel . The bed was v comfortable and I loved the firmer pillows . TV works well with Intl channels as well as Wifi . You can have your Breakfast included outside with a wonderful view on the square . Thanks everyone . Will be back . Gracie Mille !

Lovely old pallazo....large rooms full of character. There is an elevator and the rooms are air conditioned. Very nice breakfast included. Staff warm and welcoming. The loggia was beautiful and wonderful for cocktails overlooking Florence. If you want something different from the contemporary hotels, this is your place!

Beautiful hotel, excellent accommodation, perfect location. Exceptional reception staff. Friendly service. Amazing roof top Loggia bar with views over Florence, with good bar snacks and drinks. Great for Aperivo or after dinner drink. Nice place to relax after a day in Florence
