Good budget hotel, old but enough space and amenities if you just looking for a place to sleep and not particularly picky. The building is hard to locate. Staff was friendly.

Finding the hotel location was a bit of a challenge.
It wasn't the typical hotel entrance you'd think of, and there was no hotel sign, so I wandered around for a while and had a hard time getting in.
When I finally got in, the door was so stiff that it wouldn't open properly, so I was really annoyed.
There was no soundproofing at all. I could hear coughs and people talking in the next building.
However, the breakfast was delicious.
Since there were no staff members on duty, it was really hard to get directions, and even when I called, I couldn't get through.

This "hotel" shows on the trip website that the check-in time is 08:00-23:00. However, when I arrived at the hotel around 22:00 that day, I could not contact the counter and could not check in.

I was arranged to sleep in a room in the attic. The toilet and bathroom are not in the room, but in the corridor downstairs. In other words, the toilet and bathroom are open to anyone. And the scariest part was that the bathroom door couldn't be locked. Therefore, you need to take a shower or go to the toilet in a bathroom that anyone can enter at any time.
Since I was just looking for a place to stay overnight, I thought it was ok even though the owner on google map had a bad attitude. However, I think everyone can re-evaluate whether to stay in a room under the owner's flag.

Dirty abandoned hostel! Staff nowhere to be seen. Kitchen filthy. Staff failed to provide breakfast. Nothing at all. No sign of Staff to ask. After complaint to agent, manager lied to cover tracks claiming we were told to go to hotel above. Kitchen same state next day. Went to hotel upstairs and manager no idea about lie. Staff member got him to cover. Shower and toilet faulty and serious health hazards. Seemed like we were the only guests. Do jot go here!

"Avoid This Place – Disappointing Stay in Florence" Our stay in Florence was a huge disappointment. This place felt more like an abandoned house than a hotel—no staff around, no service, and a generally unfriendly atmosphere. Breakfast only starts at 8 AM, so we couldn’t have it since most tours start earlier. The kitchen amenities were lacking (no working kettle!), and there was no hot water in the shower. They also charge 7 euros per person per day as a city tax, with very little in return. If you're traveling to Florence, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a comfortable and welcoming stay. This place isn’t worth the rating and definitely doesn’t meet expectations for a good trip.

Making contact once I arrived was challenging. The buzzer/door bell was inoperative. The phone number was not accurate. Once access was given the wrong floor was given. My room was tucked in a back section of the building down a narrow corridor. Noisy with mosquitoes. Down steep steps to a bathroom. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful though.
Accommodations are very overpriced at $213. Would not stay here again.
