Palazzo Lombardo

Beautiful, clean and well equipped room. The airconditioner was great for the hot days. Tiziana is a great hostess! She is very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is well positioned in a beautiful neighborhood. Good gelato shop right across the road.

Had an amazing stay here the last two nights. Staff are super friendly, rooms are lovely and spacious and they put out lovely goodies for breakie in the mornings too! We also watch the football which was very convenient as it’s next door! Would stay here again :) Thank you!!

- special location, an old, elegant building, tastefully furnished room, impeccable cleanliness -refrigerator, efficient air conditioning, TV, very comfortable bed -Large bathroom, clean, equipped with all the necessary -common kitchen, very large, clean, coffee machine with excellent free coffee, free prepackaged snacks -across the street is a well-stocked store if you need water or food -Our room was on the ground floor, with entrance through a beautiful garden with palm trees -extremely nice host, with whom you can have a pleasant conversation -Paid parking on the street, there are enough places, 1 euro per hour. The host recommended us a guarded parking lot nearby but we preferred to park on the street being a safe, quiet area -nearby I could take the bus to Ponte Vecchio and back I got to a nearby station -the location is easily found with GPS. Park in the area marked in blue -recommended location even for a longer stay (stay in Florence for at least two days) -fair price - The surrounding restaurants have closed due to the pandemic. Stock up from the store across the street for dinner-beware that it closes at 8 p.m. -no minus for the hotel

Our first-ever visit to Florence started with 3 nights at the Palazzo Lombardo. We were warmly greeted and provided with a lot of information about the residential area of the Palazzo as well as central city where the museums and churches are located. Our room was large and the bathroom large by Euro standards. Getting to the central city was easy either by walking or by bus. The Palazzo has a kitchen with a coffee maker and some packaged snacks/cakes. All in all, a very comfortable, welcoming introduction to Florence.
