Perfect for a short weekend. Great location right at the heart of everything, absolutely perfect for getting around to see everything Florence has to offer. Hotel is clean and rooms are serviced daily. Breakfast is a basic continental which is in the room and topped up every day. Hotel is fairly basic and a little outdated but perfectly fine for a weekend away. Being so central and close to the train station the road is noisy but it’s the sacrifice for being so close to everything

Fantastic hosts. Nice room, a bit hard to find if you’re geographically . Near the train station (see photo) Breakfast is very simple continental in room Grocery store and bakery nearby. Close to many other attractions and museums. Automatic shutters close and you’re off to dream land

Have just spent 3 nights here with my wife. Cannot recommend the Old Florence enough. Ideally positioned to be able to visit all the major attractions. Literally no more than 3 minute walk to the railway station. We stayed in room 7 which overlooked a courtyard. There was a bit of noise first thing in the morning but not enough to give us cause for concern. The room was big enough, warm enough and the en-suite suitable. The breakfast tray was enough to set you up for the day. There is a very well stoked supermarket literally 3 doors away from the hotel. Our host provided some great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Just a word of warning though to anyone planning on visiting Florence on a Monday, most of the major tourist attractions are not open on Mondays so make sure you plan well in advance, pre-book your tickets for the places you want to visit.

lovely quaint hotel offers you old style Italy at its best. beautiful room with balcony , had everything we wanted .. superb location , close to everything you could possibly need. breakfast was as stated and more . a must stay if you are in Florence .

Very nice old Italian B&B, situated extremely close to the Santa Maria Nouvella Station, very comfortable, rooms very cool in the hot weather, shutters and double glazing absolutely no noise from the street and very dark at night. Manager very helpful, booked our tour, very close to everything

Our stay here was excellent. The host was very accommodating when we needed to store our luggage and he also helped answer questions about how to ship some of our souvenirs home. The room was very comfortable, it was the best shower we had in all of Italy, and the location was perfect. Being close to the train station was very helpful for us since we backpacked through Italy and had lots of luggage. We would recommend this B&B!

Structure found by chance, we were looking for somewhere to sleep near the station and we chose well, b&b obtained from a large apartment, the welcome is carried out by an elegant and kind gentleman, the room equipped with double double-glazed windows guarantees excellent silence which combined with the comfort of the beds allows you to rest well, the large breakfast tray is provided with various products ranging from croissants to rusks, from milk to instant coffee to jam, honey, nutella and fruit juices, all branded not from discount stores, last thing, very welcome, the day the stay ends they kept our bags to allow us to walk around Florence freely p.s. on the way back I was offered coffee
