Response from Property: Dear Amy, comprehensively - from your point of view - you already asked us explanations via email, and we already widely explained why we have charged the now show penalty. Then you - rightfully, from you point of view - tried to get the credit card company to reverse the charge, but they also agreed with us that we were right. Now – rightly so, from your point of view – you thought you had to defame us on the internet. The fact is that you continue to only see your point of view, despite the facts that we have proved: We have already demonstrated to you and to the credit card company that the confirmation email was sent correctly. Why you didn't receive it - if you really didn't receive it - we don't know, but it's certainly not our fault. Not only that: we also sent you a second email, asking if you wanted to book the hot tub, but you apparently thought that the hotel that had not sent you the confirmation, now it was sending you some random spam. Since you talk about "reasonableness", I think you should have appealed to this world, and contacted us at the time - if not after the first "missed" email, at least after the second received - to verify whether or not you had completed the booking. This would have been much more "reasonable", in my opinion. Anyhow, I don't think that this response of mine can help you change your point of view, but at least the readers who come across it will also be able to benefit of the truth of the facts.
