Quadra Key Easy Home in Florence

Overall speaking, this is a just ok but not too satisfying staying experience for the price I paid and for a such high-rating hotel. In terms of hygiene, I could find 3 hairs on my bed and there are filth on the floor. But the toilet and kitchen are clean. Besides, there were A LOT OF mosquitoes in the room, I am not sure is that an exceptional issue in my room. We had killed around 5-6 mosquitoes and seen 2-3 more even when we were leaving. My partner and I both got bitten by the mosquitoes, which is truly unpleasant. In terms location, it is convenient as the hotel is really close to the light train station. In terms of services, which is the most confusing part about the stay. As for the price I paid and as a hotel, it requires us to clean and throw the garbage by ourselves (or else we will be penalised by fine). I have never had to do it before in any other hotels. In terms of facilities, the hotel provides good capacity of cooking equipment, but there weren’t enough shampoo and shower gel as for us who stayed for three nights. Additional comment:

Excellent customer service and ease of contact and access. Superb value for money and great size. Modern furnishings, comes with kitchen and iron and amazing toiletries. Ample cabinet and wardrobe space together with work table and another dining table. Nice private balcony too. Extra plus points for ability to store and retrieve luggage anytime you like in a secure passcode locked area with surveillance monitoring. Extremely convenient from airport and Rail station

I would classify this as more of a guesthouse than a hotel, as there's no reception. We need to contact the owner in advance and upload our passport photos for the check-in process, but it's generally smooth. However, the noise from the road was quite loud, and the poor soundproofing negatively affected our stay. On the positive side, the facilities were good, the refrigerator and air conditioner worked well, and the staff were quite friendly.
