The hotel is very conveniently located, that's why we chose it. Yes. the reception area is interesting, but you only look at it for 2 minutes. The rest of the time it's the room and the restaurant in the morning. The condition of the room left a not very pleasant impression. The beds and all the furniture did not look nice and well-kept, and the bathroom certainly needs renovation (especially the outdated shower cabin with budget plumbing). It's obvious that the owner invested in renovations a long time ago and is now just making a profit without investing in good maintenance. I won't say it was a bad experience, but I didn't want to return to this hotel. Especially since the price tag is not humane. And you have to pay 50 euros separately for a view of the Duomo. I don't see any point at all: Florence is a very compact city and it takes 2-5 minutes to walk to the Duomo from any central hotel. Therefore, I would look for something more comfortable and soulful.

I really liked the hotel. Although not new, the vintage look is more interesting. At 7 am the bells ring in the bell tower; those who like to sleep, keep this in mind)) The staff is friendly, I asked for mugs for tea and boiling water, they were provided without any questions. The price-quality ratio is ideal! Living right in the center of Florence I couldn’t even dream of this!

The location is right by the Duomo. The room was superb, facing the Duomo. It was two stories, dublex room. Great for a family vacation. Our daughter was very happy to have a room of her own instead of a roll away. The staff was very nice. Will definetely book this hotel again. Thank you.

The hotel was right there by the Duomo. The room was great, two stories. We stayed 3 of us, my husband and our daughter. There was a queen bed and a tv upstairs. And downstairs was a daybed and a tv and the bathroom. Great stay, great personelle, perfect location. Thank you!

The location was spot on. We had seen this hotel on previous visits to Firenze and thought it would be nice to stay here. However, The room wasn't very clean. Dusty picture rails, cobwebs and squashed mosquitos on the walls. There was also a small nail sticking out at the bottom of the doorway. It could be quite easy for a guest to stub a toe on it. I did point it out to the receptionist whilst she was showing us our room but it wasn't resolved during our visit. The air con was quite noisy and irrespective of temperature set it was always too cold as if the thermostat had failed. Breakfast was very basic. Yes we knew it would be a continental breakfast, which we love, but felt it was too simple and not value for money. I left a review on ‘Booking’ but the photos didn’t upload. I was advised I could amend the review and re add them but I could only delete the review. It then wouldn’t let me submit another one.

I booked this hotel through Booking, thinking that I would find a cozy place to at least rest. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 p.m., everything in the hotel is shabby and old, you notice it simply when you get there, in the common areas, the reception, etc. They gave me the key to the room and when I entered I saw that there were live insects behind the paintings, dead mosquitoes on the walls with traces of blood, and other live ones. They tried to relocate me to another room with the same problems. I went to look for another hotel at 10:45 p.m., I didn't even touch the room but they charged the money for that night. Conclusion: if you are a traveler with the stomach to endure it may not matter to you, but I would certainly never recommend it to someone for a vacation or a few days of work.

Don’t stay here. The glass shower wall in my friends bathroom shattered when she wasn’t even in the room. Not only did she have to stay in a room with no bathroom (she had to use the public facilities and shower in one of our other friends room) and was not compensated for this inconvenience and violation of what should be a standard available feature in a hotel room. She was also charged €500 extra for the repair or she was threatened with the police. They also charged all of us - 6 rooms in total €10 Per night per room more than we were originally quoted.

Bad: everything. It’s not a 3 star hotel, it’s not even a 1 star. Rooms are dirty. AC? Yes it has AC, but it doesn’t makes air cold. It is making noises and dry air. Mosquitos they are everywhere. It’s impossible to feel refreshed after night in this room. Bed is dirty, bed sheets are dirty. Bathroom is dirty. Towels are dirty. Service desk lady doesn’t want to do her job. Hotel doesn’t provide enough towels for two guests (it was just one towel). I asked for one more towel, After arguing and proving that room was booked for two persons, she gave me another one, she put it directly on a lobby desk, where everyone puts money, documents and bags.
