Drom Florence Rooms & Apartments

The room was clean and cosy with plenty of storage and good facilities. Location is perfect. Far enough away from the busy centre to be much quieter but easily walkable to the tourist spots. Drom is right on the doorstep of trendy Oltrarno, which was our favourite area to eat and drink as has a much more chilled out vibe than the main tourist areas. Claudia is a great host. We had a warm, friendly welcome when we arrived to check in. She even offered an additional towel / sheet change to suit the length of our stay. We tried some of Claudia's restaurant recommendations which were excellent. We would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay here. Claudia is so nice and welcoming. She made the entire process so easy. The location is perfect and very walkable to all the attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable. 10/10 for everything.

Superb location with outstanding accommodation. Spacious and clean with staff available if / when needed. Comfortable bed, air conditioning and fantastic shower. Toiletries included. Breakfast served fresh every morning in the garden. Quiet location with short walk to the centre. Wonderful owner & staff. Incredible value for money. Will defo be back again. Would highly recommend.

Claudia was fabulous! Polite & made sure we had everything we needed. The location of the b&b is great - lovely and peaceful after an evening out and about in the hustle & bustle and the room itself was wonderful, clean & cool. The gated courtyard was an added bonus and made us feel very secure! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

I loved staying here Claudia was so helpful and gave us lots of suggestions the room was clean and beautifully presented I would definitely recommend staying here as it’s walkable but quiet in a great location, I will be returning to drom if I’m ever back in Florence

We booked for a two night stay in May ‘23. On our first night we were woken by being bitten on our legs under the covers and on inspection found BED BUGS! The worst thing to discover in your hotel. We looked around the bed and mattress found about 5 bugs of different sizes which means there is a considerable infestation. The next day we moved to an air bnb with a washing machine so we could sort our clothes out and hopefully not take them home with us. The worst part was the way Claudia dealt with it. She acted like it was unbelievable, insinuated that we were making it up, asked to see photographs, wanted us to show photos of the bites. When I sent her a picture of a bed bug from our bed she said she couldn’t tell if it was in her place or not. She didn’t apologise or offer a refund. We have asked multiple times for a refund for the second night but she has just ignored our messages. Bed bugs are probably unavoidable when running a hotel or bnb but you should be able to handle the situation with some grace and at the very least offer an apology and a refund! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The Hostess Claudia was extremely helpful with so many onboarding issues for a our first day and stop in Florence.
