I strongly advise against booking at Hotel Canada. And after reading the other comments, I see that we are not the only ones to have suffered the same treatment! We booked our stay in Florence months ago, departure is in four days and we received an email telling us that our credit card is invalid. After changing the card number and a call to the manager, we receive a "cancellation confirmation" email! So we call reception and we get hung up on telling us that they have no more rooms available and that they can't do anything. We therefore find ourselves without accommodation a few days before our stay thanks to this superb Canada hotel. In short, flee!

If you want a quiet and hassle-free holiday, this hotel is not for you. He sent us an email 5 days before arrival to tell us that he could not charge us on the credit card. This email was purely formal because after updating the card, we were told that the reservation was cancelled. An obviously recurring problem because, on the phone, the hostess sends me roses in impeccable French: "You can rebook your lost room but at the current market price". We had booked 2 months ago to have peace of mind... A scam obviously well established according to the other comments.

Due to the admission of my mother-in-law to the hospital, we have NOT been able to make the trip, we have asked the owner to cancel the reservation but she has told us no. And that was missing 6 days for the occupation. I understand that it is a business, I understand that we spend 8 hours of the cancellation time, but it is very unkind. Accueil très agréable, en plus en français ce qui est pas mal appréciable quand on a un anglais moyen ! Literie très propre, ( et Dieu sait que je suis enquiquinante là dessus ) chambre et sdb propres également. Hôtel bien placé non loin du Duomo. Je recommande fortement

Prenotazione fatta su Booking. Richiesto la cancellazione 1 ora dopo perché avevo avuto un cambiamento di programma. Rispondono tramite Booking che rifiutano la cancellazione e mi chiedono a che ora arrivo (ma se ti ho richiesto di annullarla!!). Quando li chiamo mi dicono che non si può fare niente, che verrà addebitato e che se li avessi chiamati subito me l’avrebbero sicuramente annullata. Quindi rifiutano a Booking ma avrebbero accettato la cancellazione a me: è perché?? Falsi, da vergognarsi a condurre un’attività commerciale in questo modo.

Nehmt lieber eine andere Unterkunft wenn ihr euren Urlaub genießen wollt. Der unterirdische Service lässt einen mit 15 Minuten Verspätung nicht einchecken, auch am nächsten Tag nicht, wird unfreundlich und behält das gesamte Geld für 4 Nächte ein. Sowas habe ich vorher noch nie erlebt. Vermutlich haben die das Zimmer dann noch jemand anderem gegeben und doppelt kassiert
