Lovely experience. Close and in walking distance to lots of fun restuarants and bars. Cool shops and even an old theater close by. Staff was friendly and nice. Parking was a little of a challege but the staff was very helpful with this too.

Great location! It is downtown, so the location is perfect if you've got a UNA student or just want to check out the downtown area. The drawback is that it's a bit noisy, but that's part of it! Room was clean and well appointed. I would definitely stay again.

Generally speaking, it's OK. It's very close to the university. The waiter kindly provided an inflatable bed. The bath water is large. The room size is also OK. It's relatively quiet. There is a western restaurant downstairs.

Clean and cozy room. There's a bar next to this building but It was not noisy. Staff was so kind. Would recommend! But It was difficult to control the faucet for shower. I hope there is a video about that.

Great stay!
We had a great stay at The Stricklin Hotel. The property has a lot of character. We enjoyed breakfast downstairs at Big Bad Breakfast.

Overall, we really liked the property and services. Concerns: upon check in late evening front desk told us we could park at back of property if street parking was full, yet we were approached twice asking for money or *****, so safer parking would be optimal. Also, went to drink machine after hours & left phone in room...was unaware room key was needed to enter back into hall went downstairs to lobby to a closed desk. I got lucky someone was coming down the elevator and willing to ride back up and key my into the hall.

Unique property. Really enjoyed the stay and all the hotel had to offer. Likewise, everything is walking distance if you want to get out and go shopping or a great dinner.

Usually great, but last visit hit/miss
Love the location, room overall very nice. Have stayed a few times and seems to have been change in cleanliness. Might have been slip up, but one side of bed had sheets folded up like someone had been sleeping. Throw pillows on floor. Not typically a 'complainer' but noticeable dust/grime around windows, lot of clumped dust in corners and on curtains, toilet seat broken, top lock for dinner gone and noticed several ants around one corner when got to room. Ants...big deal honestly, but, left to go box on trash can after dinner. When woke up in morning they were very very present. Might be good to work on that given lot of folks will throw a fit.
