Hotel des Alpes

The friendliest service ever - that is definitely not a given in Switzerland! It makes other "mistakes" seem insignificant. The in-house restaurant il Forno is highly recommended! Wonderful house 🌟

The Hotel des Alpes has very spacious, pleasant, newly renovated rooms and is perfectly adequate for a sports holiday. Very friendly and informal hosts and staff. The food in the restaurant is also excellent! We can only recommend the hotel and would be happy to come back.

We booked the hotel for 3 nights as a B&B through Free Dreams. With an upgrade we had a large room with a view of the valley. Clean, friendly staff, nice indoor pool and large breakfast buffet. Everything was perfect. If you're hungry, the hotel's own restaurant, Il Forno, is perfect. Great food (e.g. pizza). The hotel is recommended. We'll be back in the summer.

The hotel is centrally located for skiing, 50m from the bus stop, from there it is 3 or 6 minutes to the valley stations. For breakfast there was everything you need, of the highest quality (e.g. meat products, bread). The evening meal was good home cooking, everything was prepared very well. The superior room still looked like it had just been renovated, spacious, rather simply furnished - I felt comfortable. The staff are always courteous, friendly and helpful. A hotel with an excellent price/performance ratio.

We have been to the Hotel Des Alpes several times now. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff there are also friendly and accommodating. I would go again and again, thank you very much.

We booked a few nights at the des Alpes to start our holiday. The welcome was warm and we were given all kinds of information. The room was very large, with a balcony that ran the entire width of it. It had a shower, albeit with a step, but the toilet was somewhat awkwardly placed behind the door. There was a safe, fridge and TV. There was plenty of storage space, so suitcases were never in the way. The room was certainly not brand new, but it had been renovated and was kept very clean. As it was almost at the end of the corridor, it was also very quiet. The breakfast buffet offered everything a hotel guest's heart could desire. It was regularly refilled. The evening meal was surprisingly fine for a 3-star hotel. We ate with the other restaurant guests and the lively coming and going showed us how good the food really is. The tables were usually occupied more than twice an evening. The menu for the half-board guests was presented on a slate board. Changes were no problem at all. The food itself was excellent and always well seasoned. The portions were large and we didn't leave hungry. We would recommend the restaurant to non-hotel guests. The price-performance ratio was excellent. This hotel with its excellent cuisine is definitely recommended for a short break.

We had booked a superior room with half board for 3 nights. We were greeted warmly at reception. There was a surprise in the room. The first thing we noticed was the dog blanket with food and water bowl. There were also two separate towels for our four-legged friend. Very thoughtful! The room was nice and big and clean. The food in the restaurant was very good and there was plenty of it. Next time we would only book with breakfast. But only so that we have the opportunity to eat our way through the menu. Great value for money. The hotel is highly recommended for dog owners, because in the Alpes, four-legged friends are also kings. Thank you very much!
