I was feeling ill on my way home from Cambridge, and had to stop at the Welcome Break. While there, I realised I couldn’t continue my journey as I was not well enough to drive. I was fortunate that the Days Inn was with sight. I’d overspent previously at a really mediocre bed and breakfast in Cambridge, and was surprised and relieved at the very reasonable rates at Days Inn, the room’s simple quality and comfort, but most of all how extremely helpful Joe at reception was. Above and beyond the call of duty, he went to look for some ice for my very swollen leg, and brought an extra cover for my bed, as I was feeling shivery and cold. I am so glad I made the decision to stay over as I would definitely not have made it home safely. The following morning, still in pain but ready to drive home, yet again there was great service from the Night Shift receptionist Sanjeev. I will definitely look out for a Days Inn if, in the future I have to stay at a reasonably priced hotel, and will be disappointed if there isn’t one in that vicinity!

Stayed two separate nights in November whilst traveling with a small child. Cot was set up in each room, staff were welcoming, friendly and keen to help with any queries, or reservations. Check in staff were really friendly with the baby too, which is always a nice touch. Rooms were clean and generally well maintained. We had an issue with a broken toilet seat on our first night. We reported to the desk, but were told maintenance had finished for the night, but the chap was happy to take a look for us to see if he could fix it (even if he wasn't optimistic). He did also offer us a room move, which we declined as we were too shattered to move rooms again. Breakfast was fine, unlimited buffet, all cooked well and tasty.

I was feeling ill on my way home from Cambridge, and had to stop at the Welcome Break. While there, I realised I couldn’t continue my journey as I was not well enough to drive. I was fortunate that the Days Inn was with sight. I’d overspent previously at a really mediocre bed and breakfast in Cambridge, and was surprised and relieved at the very reasonable rates at Days Inn, the room’s simple quality and comfort, but most of all how extremely helpful Joe at reception was. Above and beyond the call of duty, he went to look for some ice for my very swollen leg, and brought an extra cover for my bed, as I was feeling shivery and cold. I am so glad I made the decision to stay over as I would definitely not have made it home safely. The following morning, still in pain but ready to drive home, yet again there was great service from the Night Shift receptionist Sanjeev. I will definitely look out for a Days Inn if, in the future I have to stay at a reasonably priced hotel, and will be disappointed if there isn’t one in that vicinity!

Check in staff were really friendly with the baby too, which is always a nice touch. Rooms were clean and generally well maintained. We had an issue with a broken toilet seat on our first night. We reported to the desk, but were told maintenance had finished for the night, but the chap was happy to take a look for us to see if he could fix it (even if he wasn't optimistic).
