I returned to moonfleet manor after 11 years with my children, having spent my eldest son’s 1st birthday at Moonfleet - I have great memories of that time and remember it was a perfect stay. Am pleased to say 11 years later nothing has changed and it is still as wonderful as ever. Parking is so easy, no long walk to get into the hotel like other places. Greeted by the lovely Emma, we were made to feel very welcomed. The hotel looked stunning with lots of lounge areas, beautiful grounds and so relaxing. My son enjoyed feeding the guinea pigs and rabbits, the staff member was so lovely and friendly. The kids went swimming- there are three pools divided up by depth which is great, allowing older kids and stronger swimmers to segregate from the younger ones, this was good for us as our party was for older kids. The outdoor area has badminton, park, sandpit, and more. The view of the coast is amazing and there is a vegetable garden to peruse too. It was a very calming place to be. The den was amazing - climbing wall, soft play, trampoline, arcades, ping pong, pool, gaming room, football pitch, pinball, air hockey, and more- amazing!!!! The kids spent a lot of time there, it was great as they could play there until late at night. There was indoor golf, skittle alley, snooker room, tennis, escape room and more. We were there a week but still didn’t cover it all! We loved the little touches like the milk and cookies (never too old!) and popcorn that could be eaten in the cute cinema room. Our room was lovely, perfect in fact.spacious and massive bed, really comfy and lots of storage space. Housekeeping deserve a special mention, they were brilliant at our extra requests and the rooms were spotless and tidy each day. Staff in the restaurant were amazing. Special mention to Tia who was really welcoming and friendly, and entertained patiently our endless requests for hash browns! Tom also deserves a commendation - he went the extra mile for us so many times and the kids really liked him he was so friendly. He even made an off menu coke float for my son and it was great to see he was almost as enthusiastic about it as my child! He is a credit to the hotel. We had a problem in that our car broke down and everyone on the hotel was so helpful and accommodating. Wendy was really lovely and helpful when we were in a pretty bad situation waiting for the AA and very calming. I cannot fault our stay it felt like I was at home, with the most welcoming and lovely people around us. The hotel was fully booked but we often had entire areas to ourselves, it’s so spacious that there is no room for over crowding. The whole place is designed for families and is perfection. The only comment I would make for improvement are as follows but they are very very minor indeed 1. Breakfast was lovely but perhaps a bit repetitive as we stayed a week. Some variation during the week would have been optimal. 2. The food is lovely and tasty however perhaps the adult portions could
