This was an ideal location for us, visiting family in the area. After a five hour drive the room was a much needed sanctuary. Comfortable bed with a great shower. With excellent on site parking included in the price we. Opulent have asked for better. The late check out of 12 noon was very welcome too. No frills and nothing fancy but always a great nights sleep.

We stayed beginning of August for 2 nights. We've stayed here before about 10 years ago, it must have been fairly new then as we won't be making the same mistake again. It's the most expensive Premier Inn I have stayed in, maybe worth it 10 years ago but now it's run down and in need of some work. I stayed on the corner room of the 3rd floor, room 303. The headboard had some weird stain on it, the bathroom has damp in the corner and in general it could do with a good clean and a paint touch up. The windows don't open but the the air conditioner is soooo loud, you can't leave that running. The first night I got no more than 3 hours sleep due to a long, loud persistent buzzing/ humming noise. The next day I spoke to reception who said thr kitchen extractor fan runs all the way up through the building and that it possibly got left on over night causing the noise. The next night it was off by 11.30. Just be aware of the noise if you get this room (and the weird stains). My sister and her children also stayed, she had a 2nd floor room. This room was ready almost an hour after check in and also only had 2 beds made up. It smelt of urine! She was quickly given a room with the correct number of beds and did not smell of wee! Absolutely not worth the money to stay here, Premier Inn are usually so reliable but this hotel let's it down. Ending on a positive, the staff were great!

The staff were excellent. The bed was comfortable. There was an annoying fan in the void above the ceiling tiles near the door. It wasn’t the AC, but a fan that had been installed to cool the spotlights according to the staff member who came to the room. Sounded like noisy bathroom fan. Even if I didn’t turn the spotlights on the fan continued. The only way to stop it was the cut power to all the lights in the room. That worked, but was not ideal. The WiFi was also intermittently slow, even after I paid for the Premier Inn Ultimate WiFi. Apart from that everything was fine.

The best thing about your Fleet hotel is by far the staff. Every member of staff that we met were courteous, kind, helpful and went out of their way to help. We arrived at approx. 9.30am after a long transatlantic flight, incredibly tired and in desperate need of sleep. We had paid for an early check in but Joe made sure that our room was ready early so that we could get to sleep as soon as possible, this was possible because the housekeeping staff went out of their way to get the room ready. In the evening we went for dinner, again all staff were superb, friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure that everything was perfect. The food was excellent, and even though there was only one chef, and it seemed as though everyone arrived for dinner at the same time, he kept his head, little delay and the food really tasty. In the morning breakfast again was excellent. On leaving the hotel, the housekeeping staff helped with my cases as I was struggling to get out of the door. All done with a smile. The staff cannot be praised enough, and a special mention needs to go to Joe - thank you for all you did to make 2 weary travelers human again! We have stayed at many Premier Inn hotels, and have always encountered wonderful staff but the staff at Fleet certainly stood out, head and shoulders above the rest!

The good bits: The rooms are comfortable, clean and have air conditioning. The car park is free. And that's about it. The bad bits: There aren't enough staff and some of them are half trained. Issues on my visit: no decaff coffee, no sweeteners, waited over 35 minutes for a pizza evening meal despite there only being 9 people in the restaurant. At breakfast the coffee machine was broken, there was no brown bread, and the white bread was not exactly fresh. On top of this, the wifi was glacially slow to the point that my email timed out on several occasions. I'd have been better using morse code. Best advice I can give is to eat elsewhere if you need to stay here.

Stayed 2 nights on a work trip. The rooms are those old ones with a small tv hanging off the cupboard. No phone signal on 2 different phone networks and the WiFi is like dialup! So that’s the good bits… The restaurant cannot warm a lasagna or cook pizza to an edible standard. Although the waiting staff were pleasant the manager couldn’t be bothered to cross the room to speak to me when I was politely pointing out the below standard food. Breakfast…. Broken coffee machine stale bread. Safe to say I wont be staying here again and sorry to say that I really think Premier Inn is on a massive decline in standards especially when it comes to food! and the children attempting to warm it up! 🤢

One of the nicest Premier Inn stays I've had- the room was exceptionally clean, larger than most Premier Inn rooms and generally slightly better than the average room in general! There are places to improve, but this may have just been our own experience. Upon arrival, none of the check-in machines worked, and despite buzzing it took a long while for staff to arrive, though they were friendly once they arrived. My only other concern is that on arrival to our room, the door was unlocked and ajar, but in the grand scheme of things that is not a major issue. Generally, it was a great experience! Room: The room itself was large, incredibly well cleaned and with a wonderful view and everything was in good working order. The TV was a good location to the bed, it was pleasant to have a plug socket by the bed (lacking with many Premier Inns!), and the Silentnight mattress was wonderful - I've struggled to sleep with older Premier Inn mattresses, but these are wonderful. Amazing coffee, amazing tea, and I love the fact they use glass mugs! The bathroom was a perfect size, with the bath, like with most Premier Inns, being massive, perfect to relax. Location: Fleet Station is a five-minute walk away with regular direct trains to London, Basingstoke and Portsmouth, thus this hotel is perfect for overnight stays where reliant on a train service. Fleet Town Centre is approximately a 15 minute walk- there isn't much between the two, but there is a wide pavement with the area being safe to walk down. It's not in a bad location for the town, fast walkers could be there in ten minutes!
