Baymont by Wyndham Flat Rock

This hotel was convenient to what I needed. I'll probably stay there again but it's not like there are better options nearby. It could use an update though. The front desk was friendly, which was good because my hotel key kept getting De-magnetized. I think most people only stay here for one night though, and they kept making that assumption, which was weird. There was a sign saying they didn't do maid service every day because of covid. When I asked they didn't seem "sure" and the first day I said I didn't need it. Not sure if they didn't come the second day because of that, but no one came. The amenities were really small and basic. The pool seemed dirty. The water was very cloudy.

Surprisingly Terrible Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant visit.I checked out within a couple hours of checking in because the room wasn't such bad shape.

Yikes Hotel was dirty. Any time we were walking in or out of the main doors, people were smoking right outside of them. Hot tub jets didn't work properly, water was green. Entire pool area had paint chipping and peeling, ants all around the pool area (also in the water and a few crawled onto my arm). We ended up having to switch rooms from one that was adjoining to another room that was the same with excessive noise in both. Bathroom had no TP holder.. won't stay here again.

The towel rack fell off the wall, the toilet paper holder fell, the shower valve spins all the way around cause it’s broke, the handle on the sink fell off. Ants in the room

Great night sleep! The staff was very professional and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. . I had a great night's sleep. Very quiet and great for a business trip.
