Firstly this is not a hotel, it's a residence which means you're renting an apartment and are expected to make the beds, clean it and put bins out etc. The services are basic and anything you need requires to be requested at réception that it manned a few hours a day The pool is freezing, the babies had blue lips and the tiny jacuzzi doesn't come close to satisfying the guests during the week. The apartment itself is old, worn and torn and only the addition of a bed topper made it passable. Although near the slopes the walk along in traffic, buses and limited snow before you get to the uphill plateau makes for a morning warmup before you've done anything else. With small kids it's not ideal. The worst for us was the boot room. It is basically the basement split into boxes so no natural light, our section has nowhere to sit and all corridors so when anyone is trying to get their gear out and the doors are open it's a nightmare. There are no hooks for boots so everything is on the floor which is undrained and nothing is heated. So if you're planning on taking your own gear be aware that a week in this place would do more damage than good. The only nice thing about this place are the views! All in a ridiculous waste of money, so many alternatives for a family ski week.

We had a wonderful half term holiday with our family. The apartment had amazing mountains views, you can walk 3 mins to the children ski school, the shops and the cable car to Flaine Forum. Claude and his team are very friendly and incredibly helpful if something goes wrong. We are already looking forward to staying with them next year. Thank you Madame Vacances Flaine team!

My wife and I stayed at Les Terasses de Veret in January 2025 for a short weekend ski trip. It was fantastic. Very clean apartments, with amazing views and comfy beds. Claude and all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the pool and spa were brilliant, and the location is just perfect. You're probalby no more than 20/30m from the edge of the pistes. We will definitley come again

Stayed here for only one night and wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. Friendly staff, however bed was very uncomfortable, leisure facilities weren’t open when we wanted to use them, then when they had opened even hot tub was freezing! Very expensive for what you are getting!

Booked a last minute family holiday to recover the Xmas madness. we were delayed by 10 hour due to the snow back home. When we finally arrived at 12.30 am we were unable to get hold of reception to check in. We had to phone our holiday company Heidi. Once we got to our apartment we found we had to make our own beds up. Not a great start when you have a very tired 5 year old and have arrived 12 hours later then we should have. When we woke up the next morning we really started to regret booking this place. the floors were filthy and fully equipped kitchen is not what we got and we even had to request a clean mop so we could wash the floors. Location was fab 2 minute walk to the slopes and ski shop and other ammenities. The boot room was a corridor never seen anything like it..The real kick was 2 days before our departure when we had a piece of paper pushed under the door demanding we make an appointment for check out to ensure we have cleaned to apartment from top to bottom and removed all bedding and towels and taken them down to reception. I'm sorry but nowhere on their website or Heidi's did it state this was the case. All I can say is Heidi were fantastic and paid a cleaning fee for us. and apologised sincerely. No we won't be returning.

Fantastic spot. Clean and very friendly staff. Apartment fully stocked with all necessary amenities. Pool was big and no need to book. Within 100 meters of the slopes and ticket shop. We had a great family holiday with a 7 and 9 year old. Quiet at night as well

Five of us stayed at these apartments for one week in February. The location is great for the pistes - only 100 metres away to the nearest lift station. The apartment itself could do with a little TLC. As long as you accept that this is advertised as a 3 star apartment then you will not be disappointed. It is well equipped with ample space for five adults. We had two separate bedrooms and one person on the sofa bed in the living room. There was one bathroom, a separate WC and a shower room with WC. The beds were okay but don't expect top quality. However, we managed good nights sleep while we were there. The apartment is very quiet - no significant noise from neighbors . The reception staff are fantastic. You are met with a friendly smile and an explanation of things you need to know during your stay. We had a problem with our car when we went to leave at the end of our stay and Claude (reception manager) stepped in and helped arrange a recovery garage and got us on our way. A big thank you to him. These apartments are well placed not only for skiing but have good access to the rest of the resort with plenty of restaurants, takeaways and bars nearby. We would not hesitate to come back here. Do not expect 5 star furnishings when you rent a 3 star apartment. With that in mind, I would definitely recommend these apartments. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.

Was in a 3 bedroom apartment (sleeps 7-8 but I would limit this to 6 so you could keep living space clear and there is not much wardrobe space) big balcony, kitchen and living space are nice and spacious. 1 main bathroom and an en-suite shower to one of the bedrooms, all modern and clean. Plenty of plugs sockets around the apartment. You do have to make your bed up when you arrive which is similar for most places in Flaine. Beds are firm. You do have to clean the apartment, with your own cleaning products at the end of the stay yourself unless you pay extra. Pool and sauna are nice but a little busy at times. Walking distance to nursery slopes and chairs/cable cars up to bigger slopes. Few minutes walk to food shops and restaurants. There is an orange lift a minutes walk away that takes you down to flaine forum where there are several food places. Ski equipment locker room per apartment keeps all your equipment together but it is not heated (we put our used hand warmers in the boots at the end of the day to help dry them) Reception were very helpful and friendly, bakery service is a great idea(order the day before for fresh bread/pastries next morning, collect from reception) Overall a great stay 😀 To make the apartment better: I would put another mirror in the bedroom or living space as they are only in the bathrooms. Put another door mat by the balcony entrance, so the floor won’t get wet if trodden in snow Have brighter lighting in the kitchen area, we moved a lamp to help with this Fix the squeaky extractor fan in the living space (I wouldn’t be able to sleep in there with it going on) Supply a few dishwasher tablets, as buying a whole box for a few uses is a waste unless you take them home with you
