Fantastic second stay, myself and my sister have just spent our second year at this hotel and it’s fantastic, very clean, tidy, warm and well equipped. There is a breakfast order system the night before for next day perfect for a croissant and baguette to take up the slopes. The outdoor pool, sauna and steam room is great however gets busy quickly but fantastic after a tough ski session. (I recommend sitting in the sauna till you need to cold plunge to the outdoor pool). There are two supermarkets in walking distance and a few ski shops. Ski in and ski out is fantastic great for beginners as well was last year. If you don’t want to do a ski in and out there is a great free shuttle bus in and out which runs every 15 mins and takes you into the forum. Cannot recommend enough.

Ok - further into the centre than advertised. Outside pool cold and inside spa little tired. Apartment was good but the balcony doors and windows have no locks so we wouldn’t book again with a 3 year old. Reception service very mixed. When we arrived I came in to ask about parking pre check in as had the kids in the car - I was given directions to the parking. When I got there I pressed the button to get in to be told I had to come back and check in before parking….. Similarly trying to buy drinks from behind reception or the bar - told the wrong person was on/no keys… Overall I’d book closer to the centre - the ‘luxury’ tag isn’t justified.

Great comfy apartments. Compact kitchen. One double bedroom & sofabed this time, but we've had two bedrooms & sofabed in the past. This was our 3rd visit. Try and get a room with a valley view - and a top floor with high ceilings if you can! Ski in & out - so convenient. Pool, spa and gym are fantastic for relaxing - but can get busy at peak times. Alpine looking residence and very different to the concrete blocks in Flaine centre. 10 min walk down or free mnibus transfer available - and within 4 mins of a phonecall, they would come and pick you up. Milk, bread, all essentials etc from Spar mini market in Helios (5min walk). Would definately recommend.

Travelled as a party of 5. One couple and a family of 3. First ski holiday for us but the family have had multiple skiing holidays. Having no experience of a ski holiday we had no idea what to expect. Read many mixed reviews of this hotel however we have absolutely no complaints. We travelled with Sunweb and everything went as planned. The hotel itself was great. We had a Mountain View apartment on floor -2. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sofa bed in living area, kitchenette and dining area. Plenty of storage and a lovely wee balcony too. We were also at the end of the corridor right by a fire exit that you could access with your room key to go in and out of. We didn’t have to traipse through the whole hotel and felt like we had our own private entrance. Ski in ski out was great with heated locker room on floor 3. We would order breakfast from the bakery, get organised for the day, head to the locker room and we were off. Great hot tub, steam room and jacuzzi to relax in after a days skiing. Personally we found the pool on the cold side, but we’re just being soft….we were surrounded by snow! The room had everything you would ever need. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Flaine had everything we needed. Supermarkets, shops and some great places to eat! Chez Daniel, Les Cimes, Le Bistro F and The Social being our favourites. From a first timers point of view…..visit Flaine and stay here!

Just back from a week here. The ski in and ski out was fabulous. Esf also pick up the kids right outside the hotel for ski school, which I am sure saved a lot of tears from lugging skis around. Breakfast delivery was great and I can't fault the staff! The apartment was nice but the bed not terribly comfortable but a small price to pay for a super week skiing!

Really good apartments - living space and kitchen are a good size and have everything you need. Bedrooms are reasonable size too and bathrooms/shower were fine. The ski in and out is great once you figure out the runs and a good sized boot room. My kids used the pool quite a bit and were happy with it. The hotel offers an on demand shuttle service in the evening once the regular free bus has stopped and we used that regularly though it’s only a 10 minute walk down into town (the walk back up is fine but feels longer when walking up hill, though still totally do-able). Staff were friendly, welcoming & attentive. My only negative is the bar - whilst the staff were friendly the opening times seemed random. For a ski place I would hope that it would be open every night and open until late but that wasn’t the case. However, that was a minor downside to what was a great place to stay.

Best thing about this place is the ski in, ski out. On a sensible slope, makes for a really easy life. The apartment was good as well, very clean. With good kitchen facilities. We also made use of the swimming pool, which was always warm and offered fantastic views on a clear day. The only minor complaint is the light sensor in the boot room, it didn’t last long which left us in the dark every time we used our locker.

The place is run down and the restaurant is the worst, the lady was literally begging for a tip after dinner service and then on another occasion was telling me to return the coke bottle as it is their property. One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed.

Excellent quiet ski in ski out accommodation. Went pre Xmas week with older kids for 4 days. Good skiing despite other places struggling with nearly all lifts and runs open over grand massif. Got misty one day on higher slopes of the bowl but beautiful clear with good snow otherwise 80 mins drive from Geneva. Underground parking for a fee or nearby free parking. On site restaurant and bar and , linked to sister site where shop for grocery supplies and rental gear Recommend 3 rd floor as that is access for ski in/out. Very pleasant staff. Board games available Pool and sauna a little crowded Short walk to small centre. Enjoyed watching the World Cup final in a crowded bar there If u like convenience for airport, ski in/out and it appears near enough snow sure then a great option
