Had the most amazing weekend. Thank you staff for accommodating our special request and making our stay unforgettable. Celebrated husband's birthday and Amanda and the owner went above and beyond our request. The cabin itself is very cute & charming & the property serene. Traveled in March but still had a good amount of snow which looked like a postcard outside our window each morning. Staff were very friendly and professional.

If you are looking for a quiet, rustic step back in time in the forest of Flagstaff AZ then this is it. Very quiet grounds yet close to Historic Flagstaff and Route 66. Husband was able to take off mountain biking right from the cabin while I enjoyed reading a book and enjoying the mountian view from our deck of Cabin 6. The cabin is like stepping back into the 70's. Had a wood burning fireplace, gas stove, refrigerator, dishes available which we did not use. Wish the sitting was a little more comfortable, but we weren't inside except at night. Grounds were beautiful, although the tree with #6 or the one across the roadway needs to be removed for getting into the drive easier due to the angle. Thankfully we didn't have neighbors so could use their drive for manuevering with our truck. If you like rustic, dark skies and solitude you will enjoy staying here.

The pros…great to be in the woods so close to Flagstaff. Cabin 1, the oldest, is charmingly rustic and was well stocked with dishes, utensils etc. outdoor areas were nice. Lots of hot water for showering. Heated stone floors were great. The cons. The beds were attrociously uncomfortable, topped with the squishiest foam and funky linens. The couch seats were almost as soft. For the price, the owner should be carrying my trash to the dumpster instead of me doing so. Gorgeous stone fireplace with original copper hooding filled with an ugly wood burning stove…a charm killer. No bedside table or lamp on one side of each bed, so one of us was unable to read in bed.

Let's start at the very beginning. Best you have a four wheel drive, high clearence vehicle lest you risk spring or axel damage as you transverse the unpaved,rut and pthole filled entrance path. Owner boasts about no TV's, telephones or clocks in cabins suggesting that most patrons appreciate the missing conveniences...really? Please also be aware that if windy and cold weather dictates use of the heating system you may risk serious injury beacse the owner advises that wind gusts often extinguish the heater's pilot light saying... "That is why we give you an emergency number to call in such circumstance". Not much solace when the heater pilot goes out after midnight while you are sleeping as was our experience. Suggest owner should consider spending some of their profits to address the aforementioned. Perhaps then patrons will not mind being asked to "wash the dishes and take out the trash".As an aside...request for reasonable compensation was quickly denied.

We stayed here in fall/ winter and it was very nice. The rustic cabins had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We even started a fire and was warm and comfy. It's also close to flagstaff. We would definitely stay here again.
