Amilla Maldives

A perfect journey and stay with Amilla! Highly recommended! *Our butler Nappe is the best!

Love the team, Victoria and Jupiter namely. But some of the staff at the restaurant even remembered I liked sparkling water and I only stayed for 4 nights mid April. Love the island. The view is good everywhere, even the gym. Its huge in comparison to some other resorts and you get to bike around, or you can request a buggy ride. Overall, very reasonable price, stayed HB and already gained weight, cannot imagine FB. Villa is HUGE, AC was always cold, always kept clean, always had clean towels, and they provide bug repellent, do use it. The deck was lovely and had a sun umbrella, I miss sunbathing there with an ice coffee. I did scratch my toes going for a dip during low tide cause I was too lazy to wear my water shoes. The gym was big, had clean cold towels and drinks and equipment was new. I don't know what more to ask for. Maybe more fish? but you can go on those snorkeling excursions, we went on the dolphin excursion and saw both spinner and bottlehead dolphins. They have a blue hole nearby, do learn to free dive before attempting to enter, I regret not learning to free dive properly cause it's not something you can learn quickly, no one but the guide in our group could get in. Just book Amilla. I did island hop to another resort, and I was disappointed in everything but their coral reef. Do your research but I'm pretty sure the other resort's service cannot beat Amilla. They are worth every penny.

Amilla Maldives: World-Class Service Our stay at Amilla Maldives was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the Sunset Water Pool Villas. The villa was spacious, luxurious, and well maintained by the housekeeping service. Every member of the staff showed genuine warmth and efficiency. Our Katheeb, Nappe, was friendly, helpful and very responsive. He helped to make reservations for dinners and activities and was quick to pick us up in the cart for dinner and back to the villa when it got very dark. The culinary journey was a major highlight, offering a great selection of different styles of food across its multiple restaurants, Italian, Indian, Greek, mexican, and Japanese. All highlighted fresh local seafood options,with a nice mix of traditional, and modern options. Breakfast each day at Fresh was a wonderful mix of local and western selections, with an amazing array of fresh cut fruits, fresh baked pastries, breads and meats and cheeses. The fresh squeezed juices and smoothies were amazing. We also enjoyed incredible snorkeling, encountering turtles and black-tip sharks and more fish than you can count. The bikes that come with the villa were fun to ride and explore the island. The spa was well appointed and very relaxing. Sunrise Yoga every morning was a nice way to start the day. Amilla Maldives is wonderful blend of breathtaking natural beauty, comfort, and attentive service. While the trip to and from the Maldives was very very long from the United States, it was well worth the time it took. And this resort did everything they could to make it easy to forget the time spent for the journey and leave the world behind for a few days. We look forward to returning to Amilla Maldives for another amazing trip.

I want to start off by saying that the hospitality here is the absolute best I’ve ever experienced! From the moment I landed at the Male airport I was greeted by the staff from Amilla and was taken to their private lounge while I waited for the seaplane. Once it was time to go on the seaplane I was escorted to the seaplane and once I arrived to the dock, I was greeted by the Amilla staff on a speed boat where we went to the actual resort. There I was greeted again by the manager and my personal butler Sam who was exceptional at scheduling all my activities and reservations. I also want to give a special shout out and thanks to Morgan who’s the resort manager for organizing the cocktail party where I got to meet more of the incredible staff like Kristina and Vipin. Also to Yamin for being so helpful and friendly during our water excursions. Now for the resort itself…. It is an absolute gorgeous island full of lush greenery and crystal clear beaches all around! I had an over the water sunset villa and wow it was huge and had the best views of the sunset. The food was also very delicious and had a great variety to choose from. Overall I give this resort a 10 out of 10 as the staff there go above and beyond to make sure your experience is memorable. I’m already looking forward to going back.
