Love the team, Victoria and Jupiter namely. But some of the staff at the restaurant even remembered I liked sparkling water and I only stayed for 4 nights mid April. Love the island. The view is good everywhere, even the gym. Its huge in comparison to some other resorts and you get to bike around, or you can request a buggy ride. Overall, very reasonable price, stayed HB and already gained weight, cannot imagine FB. Villa is HUGE, AC was always cold, always kept clean, always had clean towels, and they provide bug repellent, do use it. The deck was lovely and had a sun umbrella, I miss sunbathing there with an ice coffee. I did scratch my toes going for a dip during low tide cause I was too lazy to wear my water shoes. The gym was big, had clean cold towels and drinks and equipment was new. I don't know what more to ask for. Maybe more fish? but you can go on those snorkeling excursions, we went on the dolphin excursion and saw both spinner and bottlehead dolphins. They have a blue hole nearby, do learn to free dive before attempting to enter, I regret not learning to free dive properly cause it's not something you can learn quickly, no one but the guide in our group could get in. Just book Amilla. I did island hop to another resort, and I was disappointed in everything but their coral reef. Do your research but I'm pretty sure the other resort's service cannot beat Amilla. They are worth every penny.

We stayed in Amila Fushi for 2 nights only. Even it is very short but I must say this is a definitely true escape to PARADISE!!! Airport team: once arrived in Velana airport, Amila airport team Sama came to receive us and assisted to have a seamless check-in. For departure time, Naïf also assisted for international flight check-in, therefore you don’t have to worry about anything. BTW their luggage tag with your name is super personalized service and you can keep it as a souvenir already. Arrival: Welcome ceremony with Boduberu player made us feel back home. Fresh coconut and small blackboard with our names on the buggy showed Amila’s creativity and focus on small details. Our butlter Jason brought us for island and room orientation which cleared everything. Of course, he was always available for our any request and super quickly attended as well. Room: We stayed in Lagoon Pool Villa and left only with WOW WOW WOW. Spacious room with simple but elegant design and we got everything we needed during stay. They even prepared full set up for mixology lovers at your refreshment area. Even island is not really new but every facility is well maintained. Huge sundeck with private pool satisfied us for sun and water desires. Night time you can enjoy the sky full of stars with bubbles. F&B: For our short 2 nights stay, we tried Beach Club, Fresh, Barolo, Feeling Koi, Sunset Bar and IVD. Basically we loved all cuisines but favorite is Fresh for breakfast with more options. But every restaurant has their own signature dishes, so try everything! Thanks a lot for Yeli, Icy, Yeasin, Mani, and some more nice people I don’t know their names. Spa: Spa is located beach-front and before and after Spa treatment you can enjoy your refreshment with beautiful view. Ratha and one more Spa lady gave us super relaxing massage and Salina welcomed us with her adorable smile. Excursion: We went only Blue Hole snorkeling and enjoyed it with Siyam. Thanks a lot for boat team to help me change the mask immediately when my one got water leaking, otherwise I would not able to enjoy the snorkeling. If you are still hesitating with resorts selections as Maldives has more than 400 resorts and hotels available for you, why not choose Amila?!

We chose Amilla Fushi for our holiday after a careful search for a particularly vegan-friendly property within the Marriott or Hilton portfolio. Thanks to Small Luxury Hotels joining the Hilton Honors program, as Diamond members, we opted for this wonderful destination, also drawn by the vegan menu available in every restaurant of the hotel. The island is simply stunning, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. Despite the resort being fully booked, we always felt as though we were on a private island, thanks to the impeccable organization and the generous sense of privacy it offers. The activity program is rich and well-designed, far exceeding our expectations. This was our fourth trip to the Maldives, always staying at hotels of a similar standard, and this time we were particularly impressed by the size of our room: a spacious and well-designed overwater villa, complete with a living room and private pool. The only aspect that did not fully meet our expectations was the quality of the gastronomic offering. While it was convenient and pleasant to always have access to a vegan menu, the quality of the dishes, especially at dinner, was rather basic and occasionally repetitive. The presentation, flavors, portions, and menu variety could all have been more refined. Perhaps the demand for this type of menu isn’t yet very high, but there is definitely room for improvement. In contrast, breakfast was excellent: varied, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients, and truly delightful flavors. I particularly appreciated the effort to avoid food waste by not overstocking displays—an approach that reflects the resort’s commitment to sustainability. This mindful approach to preserving the environment is a key factor for me when choosing accommodations, especially in a delicate and precious destination like the Maldives. Lastly, we cannot thank the staff enough for their dedication to making our stay unforgettable. Despite a few minor mishaps at the restaurants, it was clear that everyone was committed to delivering an extraordinary experience. A special thanks to our butler Bella, the on-island doctor, the housekeeping team (outstanding!), and Mr. Amazing from the Food & Beverage department, who catered to our every need with professionalism and empathy. It’s people like them who will undoubtedly bring us back. Thank you, Amilla, for this wonderful vacation!

Our 4th time to Amilla and it’s just as good every time. This time we stayed in a water villa and it was our first time travelling with our 4 month old baby. We asked the team to pre order all the UK baby formula and sterilizing equipment a couple of months before and it was waiting for us when we got there. Hasid (and Gondo) were amazing at making the trip easy and stress free from start to finish. The food was just as good as I remember in every restaurant. Looking forward to returning next year!

After much consideration, I decided on Amira. The key points for my choice were the beautiful reef, the many casual dining options available, and the spaciousness of both the inside and outside of the rooms. The drop-off point is close, allowing for easy access from the room, and it's a perfect resort for snorkeling! The staff members are friendly, and they greet us with smiles every time we pass by. Communication with the butler via WhatsApp was easy, and their responses were quick, which was very convenient. The cleaning service came twice a day and did a perfect job, allowing us to enjoy our stay comfortably. The bed making was adorable as well! Special thanks Bella, our butler, and Yousuf Miah from housekeeping.
