Nostos Apartments

The apartment (we had the Deluxe Suite with jetted tub) is located on the cliff in the very first line to the sea and with a breathtaking view of the caldera. The furnishings are as new as they are high-quality and perfectly adapted to the organic shapes of the cave-like building in terms of design and layout. Absolutely spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The terrace with loungers, dining table and heated pool are perfect for breakfast, enjoying the magic of the volcanic crater for hours or having a drink in the evening after dinner. It's great to have breakfast served a la carte on the terrace in the morning. It couldn't be more relaxed. The entire team's courteous but never intrusive helpfulness and service cannot be surpassed and makes your stay an unforgettable experience. We couldn't have felt more at home. It is very quiet even though it is located directly in Oia. The fact that it is about 50-70 meters lower on the hillside than the promenade means that you don't notice the tourists. October is a perfect time to visit as it is warm enough (22-25 degrees during the day, 18-19 degrees at night), but not too hot as in summer time. It's also not crowded in the city or the restaurants - you can actually get a seat anywhere without a reservation. Of course, there are the cruise ships with lots of tourists who want to see the sunset from Oia - we wanted too ;-) But luckily they also have to be back on the ship at 7pm for the buffet - no offense ;-) In a nutshell: absolutely unreserved recommendation!

This place is 5 star amazing, you will not be disappointed. We stayed here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we stayed 4 nights. Santorini is built on the side of the hills and this place has un-restricted views across the bay. This place has had some money invested in it recently. a lot of the pictures on here are amazing but pre-refurbishment. It is now even more amazing. The pool is the perfect size and a section of it goes into the mountain side, so you can get your laps in. The room we had was right next to the pool so we felt like we had our own private pool at times. The room was amazing, large shower, large bed, fridge and large shower. The terrace was AMAZING, the views each morning never got old, and they serve your breakfast there too. You chose the night before what you want and they bring it to you. The hotel is family owned and is served by the same staff you see each day. They get to know you, no need to state room numbers, they always know. Your holiday will start off by meeting the most friendly staff, there are not many of them so you get to know them all and they are always ready to help you. You are greeted at the top of the stairs by the staff who carry your cases down (and back up again) at the end of your trip. They organised our transfer to and from the airport which was amazing. Quick show around and then they leave you alone, the perfect balance of always being there if you need them, but not so they interrupt your holiday. For us this was an experience that we will never forget. The layout of how all the apartments mix in with all the others is unique, There are so many restaurants to choose from and no one standing out on the street trying to get your business. It was the perfect trip. A big thank you to all the staff, you made our trip so amazing. We will never forget it.

The most luxurious hotel. Paradise on your fingertips. Make sure that you ask for the room that is right next to the pool. It makes such a difference. You will feel like you have the entire pool to yourself. The view of the white houses is unreal. That breakfast spread right on the balcony is perfect for photoshoots.

Amazing views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea. Terrific breakfasts and very comfortable room. Be prepared to climb about a hundred steps to go in and out of the property. Front desk was very helpful and staff got our bags in and out of the property. Pool was lovely but unheated.

What a great experience at Nostos Apartments! Premium suite is spacious and sophisticated, with a beautiful view of Santorini. Service is great, staff is kind and polite. They have provided us with all city tranfers, rental car etc, very efficient. Breakfast served at the balcony every morning is just amazing! Such a perfect location at Oia. Can’t wait to be back!

We couldn’t of had a better stay here! We rarely ever leave a review for places but Nostos really deserves it! We wanted to stay in Oia which can be very expensive, and we couldn’t have been more delighted to have come across this hotel and for a very reasonable price. We stayed in room 108 for 1 week, the room was spotless. It had 2 terraces where breakfast was brought to you every morning! The views were amazing! The room was cleaned everyday and never pestered to be out your room for it to be cleaned, they seem to just know when your out for the afternoon. fresh bed sheets every couple of days and lovely Molton brown toiletries. The room service food and drinks were very reasonable. The club sandwich is so tasty. Also the hotel pool is never busy! Always sun lounger available. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Several days we asked to get taxis booked for us to go to other parts of the island and nothing was ever to much to ask for. Thank you for a lovely 5star stay.
