My Husband and I had a great stay. It started snowing so we picked this place to get off the road. We are hotshot drivers and they find a good spot for us to park right in front. The lady that checked us in that night she is so sweet. Breakfast is okay but just grab and go. The lady that was that morning she was also very sweet. She checked the weather before we left to drop off are load she was awesome. Thank you both for a wonderful warm place to stay.

To start I have to say the quality of the hotel and rooms was very nice which raised my score from poor to average. When you are apart of a wedding party that you know blocked out rooms accordingly in advance, it is disappointing to found out you are on the inconvenienced side of double booked rooms. This included people in the wedding, guests, and the groom. The groups that weren’t inconvenienced, included other wedding party’s and the BGSU football team. The staff was overwhelmed with the party’s and events they agreed to host and they were not well support by the director, Lori Vance. She was an absolute nightmare that lacks customer service skills and really common sense. Personally I won’t be coming back while she is still in charge. I hope a new director is appointed. One that has decent customer service skills that lifts up, empowers, and embraces the staff. I think the overall energy of this hotel would then be able to match what is marketed.

Staying so far from home I was hesitant to arrive in this out of the way city with, not a lot of people who look like me, around. I felt immediately welcomed by the staff. When I realized my room was going to be too small for the week we would be in town the manager, Tim, was kind enough to not only recommend a room option but to allow us to see one before we chose. He didn’t bat an eye at the possible inconvenience. He even let us pick which available location we wanted when we ultimately upgraded to that room! Our stay was amazing! The food is definitely bottom tier hotel food but the extras (there were cookies one night) made up for that. There are plenty of food options within easy walking distance as well a Kroger grocery store with a Starbucks inside right across the street. Rooms were clean and the mattress was wonderful. I took a picture of the brand and style to research when I get home! My daughter even said the pull out couch mattress, although thin, was very comfortable. The bathrooms do not have tubs. Just a lovely oversized shower with a shelf you can put your foot up on if needed. I would have been disappointed had I been traveling with a little one who needed a tub. I did use the gym. The equipment is well maintained. The room is very cleaned. The only real negative was that the side hall door to the outside didn’t seem to ever be locked and there are no security cameras in this hotel. It is a safe area though. (I accidentally opened someone else’s car the same color and style as my rental one day! It wasn’t locked!) All in all I would stay here again, although the temptation of other hotels with better breakfasts is alluring.

Pretty standard hotel! The staff was super nice, and the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the wifi worked great. I definitely would recommend staying here! Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was.

Upon check-in, the woman working the desk was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the evening and slept well. We had to leave to get back home and beat some weather so left in a hurry. I accidentally left my pillow with several personal items stuffed inside. I noticed that it was missing an hour or so after we left. I called the next afternoon and they said they would check. I called back and housekeeping said they didn't find anything in the room. I used to work for a hotel and this is extremely disappointing. Is a pillow that important?- Not to most people, but clearly important to me if I am to bring it with me. The larger concern are the items inside- one was my mouthguard for sleeping! Any of you jaw clenchers know how important and expensive these things are! I am saddened by this experience. I am adult and take responsibility for my forgetfulness, but was hopeful that there would have been more consideration and care (or attention to detail).

Good price nice stay. Had never stayed at Baymont before. Room was clean. I liked the he Paul Mitchell toiletries. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Stayed on a Friday night, appeared like several softball teams were there also, but room was quiet. Actually one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel.
