Stayed here one night on a cycling tour. On the positive side, our room was clean, large and spacious. Good sized modern shower room too. On downside, it was plain to the point of being Spartan, stank of drains from the bathroom and the two small windows were situated just below the high ceiling. They had metal covers rather than blinds or curtains so overall feel was cell-like. The hotel had provided large wooden stairs to climb up and reach one window but this contraption wasn’t easily moveable so for the other window you had to balance on a chair in order to close the steel doors at night. The smell of drains became intolerable. On checking out I mentioned it to the receptionist who was totally unconcerned and said it was usual when it rained. It hadn’t been raining when we checked in and other rooms occupied by our party were not affected but clearly they weren’t planning on investigating. It was ok for one night but I wouldnt choose to return.

Travelling from Porto to Lisbon with stops along the way we booked this hotel and were not disappointed, great price, lovely spacious room with lovely bathroom and fab views, but with great soundproofed windows. Right in the centre surrounded by bars and restaurants but also quiet. Comfy bed and the sheets smelt amazing, so fresh and clean, we’ve stayed in many hotels worldwide and these were the freshest I’d ever smelt. Lovely refurbished breakfast room with amazing choices. Parking 7euros just 2 mins away and secure . Overall a great hotel and definitely recommended. Thank you.

I never imagined having to give a negative review to a hotel from the 4* exe/eurostars chain. But the truth is that I have felt cheated. I got a room (307) with an unrenovated bathroom. I think that until this room is completely renovated they should not offer it to anyone since this bathroom does not correspond to a 4* hotel. Or at least to offer it on their website (since I still booked with them and I am a star traveler member) among the photos of the exterior double or twin room they should put, in addition to photos of the renovated bathroom, also photos of it without being renovated so that At least, people keep in mind that this could happen to them and they won't be disappointed that I was. Furthermore, I booked almost 2 months in advance, I doubt that all the rooms with renovated bathrooms were already occupied, the hotel was by no means full. For this reason I give them such a bad rating, a shame, because everything else was good.

In general good although with some drawbacks. Good location, comfortable beds and good breakfast. The size of the room was a little tight and there would be a lack of a shelf in the bathroom to store things. The closet is small and very uncomfortable to access. The main drawback is that the bathroom door is glass and sliding and at night if you have to go to the bathroom you light up the entire room.

From the photos seen on the site, everything is different. Poorly behaved lady at the reception, she gave us an old, noisy room and we asked for a room change. He left us waiting for 20 min and then gave us another room even worse, we never slept due to the noise, both rooms very old and the bathrooms even worse. I didn't understand where the rooms you see in the photos on the site are?! Breakfast is the only thing worth it... To pay for another 30 minutes of waiting and I had to ask for the invoice twice!! NO THANKS, I won't go back again!!!

We really liked the hotel and location! Breakfast was excellent and with a great variety. Unfortunately our experience was not the best. During the night we had to go to the hospital, after calling the ambulance I called reception 3 times to tell them what was happening and no one answered. Luckily it wasn't anything serious, but we spent most of the night outside. No one at the hotel even asked if we needed anything, wished them well, or offered to extend the check out time. This part of the attention to hospitality that didn't exist and that makes a difference
