Very welcoming family run inn - 5th generation! We enjoyed the quiet location where there are lots of hiking and ski trails. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed. The breakfast had great variety and was plentiful. We dined each evening in their restaurant which is a local favorite. The spa with a sauna and steam room was an end of day bonus! Michael and Markus are very gracious hosts who even assisted us with our “kaput” rental car. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the mountain biking trails.

The stay was wonderful. The team lives hospitality, you always feel welcome. A packed lunch if you leave before breakfast is no problem. Sore muscles from a day of skiing? You'll quickly be served your own rubbing alcohol. And the Salzburger Nockerln to round off a really great dinner are a must at least once per stay! Wonderfully quiet location, (pleasant) babbling brook included. Because of the secluded location, however, you do need a car. But it's only a few minutes to the valley station of the Fieberbrunn cable cars. I can only recommend the Eiserne Hand!

Wir fühlten uns sehr mit dem Frühstück und Abendessen verwöhnt und die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich und haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Wir hatten u.a. eines der Zimmer mit Dusche am Gang - das war aber überhaupt kein Problem. Zu keiner Zeit mussten wir warten. Die Zimmer sind schön, die Betten bequem und wir haben gut geschlafen. Der Skilift ist in kurzer Fahrdistanz mit dem Auto. Parkplätze dort sind kostenlos und ausreichend vorhanden. Vielen Dank für die Beherbergung an unserem Skiwochenende!

So stellt man sich Gastfreundschaft vor. Von Reservierung über Begrüßung, Beratung, Bestellung war alles wunderbar! Ein Überraschungsaperitif, gefolgt von exzellenten Vorspeisen, wunderbarem Wein zum erstklassigen Hauptgang mit dem besten Fleisch, das wir je gegessen haben, haben alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir hatten ein großartiges Wochenende in der eisernen Hand anl. des Geburtstags eines Freundes. Das Zimmer war wunderbar (groß und ruhig). Das Essen war sehr gut und die Herzlichkeit der beiden Gastgeber Michael und Markus nicht zu übertreffen. Die Hotel liegt wunderbar ruhig und doch nah an allen Wander- und Skigebieten in Fieberbrunn / Hochfilzen
