A real oasis for relaxation in the dynamic old town of Fez. We enjoyed our time at the riad; it is well appointed with very professional staff. You always feel taken care of and given options for sightseeing or just relaxing. The food is great too. I definitely recommend this small but beautiful hotel for discerning travelers.

The bedding was first rate, A/C control easy, food exemplary and service exceptional!! Hotel was beautiful, with heated pool and adjoining suites for my family. It is the service that sets this hotel apart from all the others. Madame Laraqui runs things beautifully and our concierge Mohammed truly catered to our every need. We had an early plane to catch so the staff got up early to make us fresh coffee and even gave us to-go bags of food!! Location was fantastic too. If you are visiting Fez, this is the only place to stay!

Of all the riads in all the places, Riad Mayfez has been my favorite. There are only 7 rooms but they are all so unique and beautifully decorated and maintained. The common area is second to none. But the real beauty of this Riad lies within the staff. Houda is the best manager I have seen anywhere in Morocco and there is no question too difficult or unusual and no request too much for her to attempt to fill. She even took me and a friend in a taxi to her artifacts supplier when she was not going in the same direction. At first glance we thought we were in a junkyard but the place was a treasure trove. Thank you Houda and special shout-out to Mohammed as well. *** Be prepared to climb stairs.

Amazing spacious rooms in a small intimate setting, this is one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Service was impeccable start to finish, with staff at your disposal to assist with any need. Restaurant was amazing and one of the finest meals we had in Morocco. You won’t find a better hotel in Fes, and you may not find a better one in Morocco.

Check in is at 3pm or 15:00. We arrived at 5:30 pm or 17:30 and were made to wait more than 30 minutes outside while the room was being prepared. When we asked what time check in was supposed to be, we got a nasty response. This is a very bad way to start a visit.

No other words to describe this property, but luxurious, detailed, comfort, and a quality of service we have not experienced in any part of the world. Never have felt so welcomed and cared like in this property. Thanks for hosting us!!!!!!!
